A college degree while I'm not sure about credibility will allow you more avenues to persue career wise. While Job Corp is a fantastic opportunity and provides younger people with the tools to enter into the workforce quickly and often with success it only gives you a limited "bag o tricks" if you will to work from.
A college degree will provide you with a broader base of knowledge along with your major giving you more focus for career choices. Unlike job corp though you won't have a laser beam approach to your job selections. I myself am using my degree in a much different way than what I first thought I'd be doing.
This is GREAT though because I haven't had my options limited due to a focused training program. I had and have the ability to choose the direction my career goes and my degree gives me the backing with my company along with my performance to in essence write my own ticket.

While I see Job Corps as a fantastic opportunity for young people to come out hot and heavy and get decent jobs that pay well or potentially pay well; a college degree can lead you to many more doors and opportunities that can have a better payday in the end along with potential higher satisfaction at where you are career wise at the end of the day. Not to mention the fact that a degree is good with ANY employer just be smart and choose and applicable degree to the real world not a sociology degree which is great in acedemics not that applicable in an office (unless of course your studying to be a sociology professor or sociologist).

Good luck in your decision and don't stress it too much since I'm 30 and I still have open opportunities life is too short to play scared but take your time because what you choose now can effect your future later. Although you can change direction whenever you choose the beauty of being an adult.

Ultimately good luck and whatever you choose will be the right choice regardles of what we tell you about.

I believe it would be college because you can get your foot in the door of several occupations. At Job Corps, you are trained for one job specifically, I think. Good Luck !
