Try Americorps and Mercy Ships, both are excellent programs.
If you're involved in a church, many churches have national sponsorship programs for funding overseas trips as well. Good luck!

Another international volunteer organization is i-to-i (http://www.i-to-i.com).

According to their website:

"i-to-i travel is for people of all ages looking for a refreshing, challenging and authentic cultural experience.

You can travel independently or as a group. Either way, you'll be joining a team of travellers, local families and project co-ordinators who share the vision of creating a better world. By living and working with local communities that need skills or support with existing projects, i-to-i volunteers have unforgettable and often life-changing experiences. "

The second link is a page you can do a search on to find jobs. They will list what the benefits are at the end of each community service job available... some get child care, health care, money applied to your school loans, monthly living stipend, some provide room and board.
