My name is Tori and i am apart of a wonderful small Church in Akron Ohio. We want to take our kids to a camp called camp wilson. This camp offers a staff for the pool and horseback riding and food services and we can worship and teach his word to our kids by taking them out of their comfort zone. Because we do not own our own camp we have to take them to this one so we are able to enjoy our summer ministry. It will cost about $300 per camper and we would like to take about 28 to 42 youth to this camp. This is a great oppurtunity not just for the youth in our church and our sister church but for the youth in our community. First it would be good to know what your time deadline is. How soon do you need money? Is this a non-profit donation, meaning you could provide a receipt in order to claim charitable giving on tax forms? I'd be willing to help but I can't give a lot, please email me with address and such. God bless!

Fund raising Ideas
1. Do a search online for free fund raising ideas, there thousands of them, pick the ones you can do quickly. (see below)
2. Post a blog entry about it and ask for support.
3. Join some community and fund raising forums and website and post your message there.
4. Email your friends with the information and ask them to forward the email to others.
5. Post flyers with the information on bulletin boards and other charity sites.
6. As for companies, go for the big ones first, like Nike, Coke, Pepsi, etc, send them letters and ask for sponsorship, sometimes these companies just send out checks to folks!
7. Then go to local companies, meet the owners face to face and explain your need and how it will benefit the local community.
