Contact your local volunteer centers. They can provide all sorts of one-time or short-term volunteer activities that match your interest and meet real community needs as well. Most volunteer centers have teen volunteer programs.
Through my volunteer center, I tutor children at the local library, enhance visitor experience at the local museum, package food at the local food bank, and a lot of other diverse projects.
Check out your local volunteer centers through the following links:

Chef L,
I would recommend you get a hold of one of the local Catholic church's in your area and ask about the FOOD SHARE (Self Help and Resource something or other). Basically, they provide food to the needy at a much reduced rate - I used to volunteer for this while I was in College. It was a great way to help someone feel good about getting food into their refrigerator - they help out all faiths ( non-denominational) and all types of people - from young families to seniors. Sorry I cannot recall what the "E" in SHARE stands for, but you get the point by now I am certain.
Thanks for your consideration of others!
Briefly, after doing some basic research I found the below information where I am certain someone could use the high energy you bring for the benefit of others. Hope this helps!

I am 15 years old. The BEST place for a teen to volunteer over the summer is the hospital. It is so easy, and its interesting. You can also volunteer at libraries, homeless shelters, nursing homes, food banks, etc. But the hospital is the best place for a teen to volunteer. In Greenville, NC, PCMH has a special department devoted for Teenage Volunteers, and so do many other hospitals across the country.

I do admire teens with the drive to help. Try to talk to your community leader or better yet your town's leader, I know just like in our place they have this programs intended for the youth. I am sure they will be glad to have you in their group. Keep it up!
