Community Service

After all we know it is profitable. We should get some of the benefits. Perhaps as a community or cooperative we can make ourselves some CA$H as well. Time is running out and prices of goods and services are rising. We would also be doing the nation a great service by paying the Nat'l War Debt. Let's really stimulate the economy and get the US rolling again. With the left over money we could inverst in a lobby or more!

This would be truly maxmizing on the entrepenurial spirit. We could get very rich. Now let's get those ideas out there. I talking business to you. Square,square, square, business.

You know when Mr. Opportunity knocks and you do not answer, you see his sister, Miss Fortune.

There must be something we can sell to make this happen.

We will call ourselves the Yahoo War Profiteers & Nat'l Debt Payers Group. A mouthful you say? I am open to better suggestions. My requriement is a mere 23 1/2% of the take!

I thought just struck me earlier while I was meditating on a prayer. It's more popularly known as the prayer of Jabez. I read a book about it and how it has created wonders that changed the world.

I was reminded of a particular movie I once saw for my theology class. I dont remember the title, but it had the tag line, "BUILD IT AND IT WILL COME" and that's exactly what Im doing now.

I enjoy doing volunteer/charity work in orphanages and homes for the elderly whenever i can, but since I belong to a third world nation, funding has always been my problem. I have some friends from the US who help me out, and Im just wondering if there will be others who are willing to help, in their own little way.

We dont really have public libraries here and I was thinking of starting up a children's library and I would need (old) book donations.
Would there be caring people out there who'd be willing to help me out? Im just an individual and I am not affliliated with any foundation.

I am going to call the hospital and nursing home but, i have no idea what to say. Would someone type up a phone conversation worded perfectly? I need to ask these questions-What are minimum age to volunteer?-when can i volunteer?-What will i be doing?-Ect.? Thanks!

many people say that they would live what they believe, but how many would do so knowing that all that they know could come to an end. Too many things are going way to wrong in this world . Where do you stand? You may say that there is many things that need to be done but what have you done? You may say that you believe in God but what.. have.. you .. done. the antisocial behaviour inthis country is disgusting and we should stand up as a group and unite as one to get rid of the pains who cause suffering to others not only last week did i read that a lad was walking home and saw that his house was getting vandilized and told the yobs to stop and they beat him to death we have yobs who stay outside our house and blast footballs outside our house and fence and its not on only yesterday they kicked 3 balls in our garden and started to climb over the fence and when we said get down the filth started the usual fn and blindin and we told them the day earlier you kick it over again and you aint gettin it so they still did it and they have been doin this for nearly 3yrs now and the council or police wont do anything we called the police and they came out but all they did was come round have a look and then turned round and then went as this to them aint important its not on we need somthin done theyre rulin the street and they shouldnt we should

I have been offered a promotion, which will require me and my little boy to move to Liverpool.

We all hate the call at dinner time or whenever.Trying to get you to refinance or beg for money for whatever. Usually I hang up. What is the best way to handle these calls? Sometimes I get pissed and hold them on the line waiting, but my friend said they get more time so more money for them.They like that. Then sometimes I may get sharp or a bit rude. I know they're only doing their job. Can they have your number then write it on bathroom walls all over town? Can they get really evil? Just curious on how others deal with them, over and over again. I am on the "do not call" list but...

last year before i moved to texas from los angeles,california,i decided to check out my states sex offender website,i typed in my address and voila! about 100 names within 20 miles of my home popped up!2 of which happened to be a next door neighbor and a neighbor across the street!both for violent sex acts with a child under 14 .the website stated it was unlawful to harass these people.luckily we moved,but not before i warned several other neighbors and my landlord about these people.did i do the right thing,or did i violate there rights???my mother says yes,i say hell no!!!

i have a blind aunt that lives in india and i'll be visiting her soon. what kind of a gift besides clothes would you suggest i give to her? its so hard to think of something that would be special to her. i wanted to give her something that appeals to her other intact senses so i gave her perfume once. but now i can't think of anything.

clothes are boring (she doesn't really even go out that much). and she doesn't listen to american/english music.

i'd really appreciate any good advice/suggestions.
