I am going to call the hospital and nursing home but, i have no idea what to say. Would someone type up a phone conversation worded perfectly? I need to ask these questions-What are minimum age to volunteer?-when can i volunteer?-What will i be doing?-Ect.? Thanks!

Just tell the person who answers the phone that you are interested in doing volunteer work. Different places (and states) have different rules about their volunteers.
I'm a hospice nurse and we have volunteers and they are some of the most awesome people I have ever met. Looks great on your resume, also!
