pets mart is a very good place to git hours fast on sat and sun they have the dogs and cats out they give hours for playing whith them!!!

The public library gets lots of community service workers. At least it is inside an air conditioned building. You might end up straightening the shelves, removing labels from books or dusting.

Tutoring works great. I tutor once a week at an elementary school. They have an after school homework session. Try talking to schools in your area- they love the extra help! You can also apply to volunteer at hospitals, soup kitchens, etc.
