I want to do help.?

Question

i believe we were put on this earth to make a difference. I want to start by helping out the homeless, running for aids and so much more. I want to get involved . i live in central jersey, if anyone can send some links my way or is in an organization and needs help. please let me know

Go to www.craigslist.com Under the "community" catergory, you can click on "volunteers." I think you will find some pretty interesting opportunities there.

Check your local newspaper and/or phone book. Almost every town and city has some sort of charity group. You might also inquire at local churches, or your own church if you belong to one. If you're in school, inquire at your guidance counselor office. They may not know of specific organizations but may be able to help with research and point you in the right direction.

Newspapers always have "warm, fuzzy" stories about people who are doing good work for the community. Read a couple of newspapers and you should be able to find some.

Figure out how to possibly, do thoes things, and do them. You could, maybe start out, by joining some non descriminating organizations. Or you could just volunteer at a homeless shelter, as a start.
