Hi, Has anyone tried this in the uk with their neighbours? If so, what was the outcome, did it help?

Ive heard it is a charitable fund that will sponsor individuals in cases it deems fit, which many other charities and trusts wont consider.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Im currently not working, although I'm looking for a job (but the jobs around here are extremely scarce, so its proving difficult). Anyway I was thinking about volunteering at the local animal shelter so I have something to do while I'm not working. I want to continue to volunteer even after I find a job, but I'm wondering if thats a bad idea. Do you think it'd be irresponsible of me to do volunteer work when I dont even have a job? Should I wait until I get a job, or start volunteering now? Any opinion welcome.

Anyone have some advice. I live in the UK. Im 20 years old. I love working with chirldren and taking care of them. I was wondering if anybody new about some places where I can go do some volunteering to take care of little children. I just recently moved to the UK, Im not so fimiliar with the places. Elizabee (username) started the BWA (boycott of weewold act) and she dosnt have many people joining and now there are less clothes that are free for weemees.she tried emailing weeworld office but the sicerity wont alow it to go though. what are some good ways for people to join and stop the "buying clothes for weemees" thing?

An acquaintance of mine believes that every GOOD eBusiness concept has already been applied/created and I myself couldn't think of any FEASIBLE ones that wasn't already in place in some form. Though to be fair I'm very unimaginative.

I have about 80 hours of community service to finish up and I no longer have a babysitter for my 4 year-old since I just moved here to Downtown Savannah.

I'm a good person in a bad situation: I took the wrap for my sister so she wouldn't go to jail, now I've got community service to do.

I'm brand new to the area - from NJ - and I want desperately to have this finished in 2 weeks (before my husband comes home from Iraq).

Does anyone know what I can do where I can bring my daughter with me safely? Driving people to the Dr? Working at the library? Phone Numbers? Contact info is a HUGE help!!

I always curious about charity organizations, that if the donations get to the hands of those really needed, or they pocket most of the money ?
