Non creamy layers are living in pitiable conditions. It is societies responsibility of the society to take care of them. I am of opinion that following steps be taken for RESPONSIVE DEVELOPMENT OF under developed villages-

WE CAN IGNORE FAMILIES WITH MORE THAN 2 CHILDREN.

FOR REMAINING FAMILIES UPTO 2 KIDS SOCIETY CAN PROVIDE EMPOWERMENT-
# FREE EDUCATION UPTO 12th.
# HIGHER EDUCATION EXPENCES FOR MERITORIOUS STUDENTS(MP's CAN BE ASKED TO SHARE FUNDS)
# OLD AGE HOMES FOR POORS WITH 2 KIDS.
# FREE MEDICAL CHECK UP SPECIALLY FOR OLD AGED.
# WHERE EVER THERE ARE HIGH SCHOOL & ABOVE; RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES FOR SCHOOL STAFF BE PROVIDED.
# CLUSTER OF VILLAGES CAN BE ADOPTED BY CAPITALISTS $ RICH CORPORATE HOUSES(INCLUDING PSU)
# MEDICAL FACILTY BE EXTENDED BY MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL THROUGH MOBILE VANS)

OTHER MEANS OF GROWTH OF UNDERDEVELOPED VILLAGES BE EXPLORED & IMPLEMENTED.

Few days ago a friend was sent an email saying that he wined the sum of £820.000.00 and he was asked to contact a certain Douglas Keepson to tell him what to do ,after contacting him and sending his information ,he was contacted again by a bank called The Ned Bank ;it was supposed to be the bank that will give him his prize ,then the bank asked him to pay 620.00 US$ as fees .My friend asked them to withdraw the fees from the sum he was supposed to have ,here again they answered that was impossible and the law defended them to touch to that money. We felt that it was a fake ,we sent an email to the so called Douglas Keepson ,telling him that he'll receive the money to pay the bank, soon after ,he replyed giving information about his secretery's account number and asking my friend not to tell his bank that it was lottery prize to avoid higher charges ,he even phoned, asking my freind to check his email.
After investigations we found that the winning notification was a big fake

Why do we spend more time, money, and resources taking care of homeless and malnourished children in third world countries than we do taking care of the ones here in our own back yard. I watch TV at night and I see all these celebrities hawking the latest charity that for "just pennies a day" feeds a foreign child or gives him medicine or clothes and educates him. Why can't we have the same type of celebrity commitment here in the states?

I am specifically looking for demographics on the number of programs that have comprehensive family programs that addres issues of domestic violence. The current ones that I have been able to identify deal with women and children, while the program I'm bringing up includes addressing the issue as a family. Thanks in advance for your input.

My boss decided not to get me even a little christmas present. I would think the vast majority of bosses/managers get something for people that work directly under them. Plus he makes enough money that he shouldn't be so cheap.

There are so many worthy causes out there, but there must be some that do a better job with the donations they receive. I've heard about top-heavy organizations that use most of their donations just to support the organization. My gifts aren't large and I want them to really count.

All I ever hear about is how the price of gas is going down, yet we are STILL paying over 2 dollars a gallon! Are we being robbed by the oil companies? Is there a good reason that with supplies at all time highs, and prices per barrel dropping more each day, that they are still charging us what they did when there were SERIOUS supply problems, and oil was more expensive than ever? Should we, as a country, boycott oil consumtion for a few days to send big oul a message? Do you think its possible?

I live in Calgary and my toddlers want to give some of their toys to other kids less fortunate. They asked me if Santa would take these toys and give them to other kids!
I scouted the web looking for a charity that would like these toys but they all ask for new, unwrapped toys! the ones my kids selected are in excellent condition, clean and good toys. I hate to throw these away and would prefer to have another kid play with them. I would not donate a damaged toy!
Who would like these toys? I thought of women shelters or homeless kid shelter but I can't find the relevant info. Xmas is coming and I hope I can give them away on time for a kid to smile and play at Xmas. Any ideas, addresses, website I could check???

It is often argued that there would be no charity if not for Christianity in America. I always respond, "Most charities are secular." Common sense tells me this. But is there really any proof?

Please, no matter what your answer, provide a verifiable/reliable source. Opinions are useless. I am seeking facts.
