I'm afraid that I'm not in Birmingham, but I have a few ideas of where to try. If you belong to a faith community, you may be able to post a listing in their bulletin or on their bulletin board. You might also try to post an ad in a newsletter of a club or organization you have interest in - that way you have a better chance of living with someone compatible. Meet them first and don't be shy about asking questions. Best of luck to you!
