I would have to say my best friend Shaye of 14 years is my hero because she has taught me to be myself regardless of what others think. I am 24 :)

You know, that the Bible is the Truth, that there is a God who loves them, but has no qualms of sentencing them to eternal torture if they disobey, that everything that is capitalized must be True?

EVERY atheist question or argument I have seen which attacks Christians or theism has contained false information about both. Apparently, the questioners know a lot about their own world, but very little about the religious world. They pick an occasional quote, they refer to Sunday school simplicities. They are certain of their contrary argument while never realizing that their argument begs a question no one was asking. Example: "If one God is logical, why not lots of gods?" Monotheists worship one god while recognizing that many exist. Perhaps the definition of "god" needs some clarification.

I know science, often way better than the antagonistic atheist or agnostic that I encounter. I also know the Christian bible. I know both sides.

Why don't atheists?

There are numerous stories about atheists setting out to disprove the existence of God and the reality of theism who became believers.

Prove yourselves. Do the research. Disprove god. Then post questions.

I know this sounds crazy but after reading Eat, Pray, Love, I have been obsessed with living a peaeful life that involves God. I would like to meditate but have no idea where to start. In the book, she says 'Hamsa' which means, 'I am that'. I would like to know if anyone knows the others ie. chants with verses and where I could fidn them. As well as a standard method to chanting meditation.
Please no stupid answers, I am very serious about this.

I dream that i was in a maybe a shopping mall i was inside a bag store when i was finish looking at it and when i was outside the store they have closed the store because i so that they turn of the light so i walk and ending up to the exit door it is a sliding door everytime i try to open it it just bounce back and close i try that allot i cannot go out the was somehow heavy in a way i feel it and the entire door was a bit transparent like a fog then i notice a try to come in and his head got stock so i help him maybe he is about 50 year old man he manage to go trough but he didnt say thank you he just walk strait like he didnt so me? So loo in a second outside before the door closes again i so a open field allot of grass there is no stairs outside the door then slowly i can see that the door is like a secret exit door the color is changing to a stone just on the outside door. The purpose of the door is not letting in some one so i wonder if the man i help was actualy a demon?

I turn used christmas cards into christmas postcards. I would tear/cut off the front of the used card with the beautiful picture on it and trim it, if needed and go on the backside (where it's usually blank) and draw a divided line where you put the addresses on the right and your message on the left. That's it!
Usually, the front of the christmas cards that you turn into postcards, are mostly larger than your average postcard and you'd have to pay the standard "first class mail letter rate". It does not matter how heavy it or how large it is, the first class rate does not fluctuate, unlike using envelopes. But you may get lucky and pay the postcard rate if your christmas postcard is small enough. But hey! at least recycling your old christmas cards and making into postcards sure beats buying new envelopes for them and licking them and you save trees this way!

The Bible is full of hundreds of miracles. Not just little "the-cancer-went-into-remission-by-itself" miracles, but big ones, like the parting of the Red Sea, water into wine, or raining frogs. Now we don't see any (that we can't explain scientifically). The Bible also contains many instances where God communicates directly with humans. Now, this never happens. I don't know what others' experiences of talking to God were like, but despite being a committed Christian for 20 years, I can honestly say I've never heard God, or even felt like he was trying to tell me something.

Why are all these things in the Bible, but we see none of them today? Jesus' atonement for our sin is now complete, and these miracles would be very useful to help all people realize that Jesus is Lord, which is exactly what God wants, right?

Surely God realized that the sudden absence of miracles would result in much scepticism, so why did He do it?

I dont believe the "man" written, edited and translated bible. i also dont think god spoke to whomever and told them to write about it. If he did why then... and not now? especially in this time of turmoil that the world has come to? They also say that "jesus" is coming back? I mean whats taking him so long to do so? anyway...will i be wrong for believing in "GOD" and not the bible? think about it ...is the bible actuality and factual? after all these years and all the translations and meanings and metaphoric suggestions? i mean what are the odds? dont you think if god is whom you create him to be he would appear to all in the sky like a planatarium and confess his anger and his words? i mean think about it.
