Without their cheers, how can Torre feel the satisfaction of a job well done? Sure, some might say the 20 million is pretty satisfying, but can it compare to the cheer of a child? doubt it.

I ask that Congress declare war on the mute.

According to Christianity, are good deeds important or is it just enough to have faith?

I'm just wondering because I hear more about the importance of good deeds in other religions while I hear more about faith in Christianity.

1st: If god is all-loving and benevolent, why would he create Satan, knowing that he would turn evil and try to corrupt all of humanity?

2nd: If god created all the species of plants, animals, and bacteria on Earth, why did he let some go extinct? We have fossils that show past-living animals that are not living today. This can be explained by evolution, but not by god. Why would this happen if god is perfect?

they act so childish to me. i can't get over how they act at lunch. i also over heard some of their "locker room" jokes and they seem so disgusting. i am not gay or anything but some of the boys are just freaks. i only know a few that are normal and don't feel the need to act "ghetto" and/or ridiculous and goofy at that point. do any of you agree?

seems the church tried and still tries to hide the truth (sun centered solar system, round not flat earth...now its evolutions turn)

how many of you that disbelieve in evolution would also have denied the world was round or the earth rotated around the sun? would you have chastised us for making those statements like your christian bretheren did? does it make you feel insecure at all that in the future, people are going to look down at you guys discounting darwin the same way we look at your christian brothers looking down on galileo?

I am a Bible believing Christan, who studies and follows the scriptures, I also teach others, and point them to God's word.
When I want to brag about something, it is nothing other then Jesus Christ died for me. I always Give God the Credit. I also give Jesus Christ the credit for Salvation.

In contrast, you have these other religious groups. They all post here claiming "THEY" are the best. Be it Catholic, Jehovas witness, 7th day etc.. You must join "THEM" to get saved.

Why can't they just humble themselves, and give all the credit to Jesus Christ? Why must you puff up your religious organization?

I mean why be a walking bilboard for a religous organization, why not be the light of the world and promote Jesus Christ?

I know there are some verses in the Bible that say women should keep their mouths shut and receive guidance from men, or their husbands. but what about in our culture now, are women still supposed to just "keep their mouths shut"?

I also know it says that women should not teach men? I don't understand really. Is it okay for us to teach a women's sunday school class, or even children? I guess I just don't understand the concept.

Include some Bible verses please.

Okay, so I have completely devoted myself again to studying God's word and going to church. The thing is that I learn to cast my care on him and do His will, then I get attacked with major anxiety about my bills etc. then my family comes against me. I told them I'm going to church and they tell me in so many words it's kind of dumb. I guess I just get excited about learning God's word that i want to share it, but they don't want anything to do with church or the Bible, then they get angry at me. Is this Satan's work? Why do I let this get to me. I know the Bible says that even though my mother and father forsake me, then the Lord will receive me. It's hard for me to accept that my family doesn't accept me or God, but I know it's true that if I just follow Jesus and God's word that even if it's just me and God that I can make it. Am I right?

Ok so here is the deal my husband and I are Christian we have a 7 month old son. I do not want to Celebrate Hollowen for alot of reasons but my number one is it is the Witches Sabath. My Inlaws think I am crazy for not dressing my son up so 1 how do i explain to them why it is soo important to us? and 2 do you have any ideas on things i can give out to share Christs Love on holloween instead of just Candy. I need to ask you all how to do everything in wicca living a "stone age" life in the woods(living in a tee pee, yurt, wooden shack, etc, building fires, growing/hunting food, etc.). Yes I do want to live like that one day. And there is absolutely no money involved with it. As I said, its a primitive life.
I do understand the challenges of primitive living but I am up for it because I despise the realm of society.

I'm asking this because my girlfriend is a wiccan and she wants to do the same thing that I'm gonna do.
Btw I also want to be wiccan (someday), so if you have any links to sites that teach it then put them up.
