"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." [pg. 153, Calaprice, Quotable Einstein]

Are there any religious practices in atheism?

I'm asking in honesty btw. I hope people would try to define instead of giving insulting answers. I find it so "religious" when people insult instead of just answering the question.

Atheist would most likely say no. But they may use some form of self hypnotism, or other practice to get in touch with their inner resources. They may be doing things that are similar to meditation without knowing it. Also, they may get very heavy into wishing something would happen to their benefit. This may work very similar to praying for something to happen. They may have certain rituals in their life that make them feel more comfortable. They may be very similar to some religious rituals that comfort people. One does not always have to label something religious to get similar results.

Religion doesn't need science. God spoke and it was done. It's that simple.

Have faith dear friends in God.
