Life-Coaches have been around forever.
The "old" name for them was MENTOR.
Find a good role model and imitate them.

I haven't but I used to watch a show that was on called Starting Over where all of these women had life coaches and worked on their issues while living together in a house. I though we should all be given the opportunity to do that! Anyway, I think Iyanla Vanzant still does coaching...she has a website.

life coaches are frauds.

they have no more experience in life than you and what the hell gives them the right to charge for advice.

they simply rip off the stupid people who are incapable or unwilling to think for themselves by creating a need in a person's life who already has "addictive" tendancies.

there is no special phd or any kind of skilled license required.

its like the quacks of medicine back in the old days, just tossing snake oil and leeches onto a sick person.

I have a mentor. He guides me through God's Word. I try to immitate him in his daily living.

If you don't know anyone who wants to be your mentor then I recomend a book called "Choose the Life" by Bill Hull.

You will learn a lot about mentors in there.
