i am gay and i find it so absurd people saying it is right as people saying it is wrong...being gay is exactly the same as being heterosexual so it is not right or wrong just being that...right or wrong is what you do not who you are...is it wrong i am white?? is it right i am black?? is it right i have blue eyes?

I have to laugh about all the posts criticizing people of faith, making fun of them and their beliefs, anguishing over their power in elections and just plain complaining about them. Why do you care? Why is it your business?
And please don't tell me about all of those nutty Christians coming to your door trying to convert you. It just doesn't happen that often.
As to their objection to homosexuality, we are all free to believe what we wish (last I looked) as long as we don't go out and hit someone.
As to electoral power. Tough. Every American has the right to vote, organize, lobby and influence the govt. to conform to his/her views of the world. That is America. Don't like it? Organize and vote the opposite way, but just quit whining.

In Christianity you are sinning and working for the devil if you don't give your soul to God.

The devil is never supposed to ask directly in a sense, yet if God is the rightful owner why do you have to give it to him?

Is it not his already by right?

Would you give up your life for a bunch of monkies? This remindes me of a verse in the Bible! It says that in the last days, people will worship God's Creation more than they will worship the Creator! So in that case with your evil-lution you are really worshiping God's Creation instead of proving that GOD is not real! Ever think of that? I bet after hearing that, you want to come up with some other dumb theory! Well you know what? Athiests are never happy people! For me family and friends have become more religious, people that I knew that were once only concerned with making money, party revelors are embracing faith in GOD more than ever
HOWEVER
People I meet at social gatherings are more inclined to be brianwashed by the liberal media and brianwashed by the anti-religious folks, they seem to think the world is in a mess because of President Bush and evangelical christians however when you back them up agaisnt the wall and ask if they want a liberal President that bases morality more on Man rather than GOD they always sing to a different tune.. Most tell me they feel pressured to be PC and when meeting me say it's refreshing to talk to you, because you are so far removed from being PC it's noble

The Bible states that the people of God are not to do any religious holidays that are not from him. And especially not to convert those holidays into ones directed toward him.

Deut 12:30 (NIV) … be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying, "How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same."

Deut 12:32 (NIV) See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.

No High Day or celebration called Christmas was given to us by God.

How can you justify Christmas with an instruction like that?

I have seen many on here claim Jesus is a created being. I want to know where this comes from. The Bible seems to make it clear that Jesus has always existed. In Collosians 1:16 is says that all things were created by Him. If everything was created by Him then He Himself cannot be created or He did not create all things. It does not say all created things except Jesus were created by Him. It says all things. So my question is how can you say Jesus is a created being?

Also if non-believers could refrain from comments such as "He never existed" or "The Bible is a myth" it would be appreciated. You do not believe so this question does not concern you. Please go answer a different question.
