Hey I went trick or treating when I was 12 as well...don't think you're too old, I've seen 18 year olds trick or treat around my neighborhood lol. There are so many cool costumes these days. If I were you, maybe go to this website www.spirithalloween.com and see what costume interests you the most. I bet you'll find something great, if not I'm sure it'll give you some good ideas. Have a safe and happy Halloween!

I don't know why you think you have to stop trick or treating at any age, I know many young people who are of college age who still dress up in costume and have a good time on Halloween. As long as you behave in a respectful manner and are having fun, age does not have anything to do with it.

A lot of older teens will go with family members around where I live, and help with the younger family members.

Some of the girls around here will pick characters from a favorite book, such as the Harry Potter series or a musical personality, favorite movie characters and some will dress as military, especially if they have a parent or family member in the service. You could dress as a cheerleader or bandmember from your school or any other school group that would be recognizable in your area.

Homemade costumes can be the most fun, and thrift stores and places like Goodwill are great for costumes and props; plus you are supporting others and learning to be charitable at a young age.

I have seen the characters from Alice in Wonderland, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the Three Musketeers, Pirates of the Caribbean, Aliens, Mummies, Elves, Dorothy and Toto (works great if you have a little dog that would like to be carried around.)

Make sure that if you wear a mask, you have adequate openings for breathing and being able to see where you are going safely. Do not wear dressy shoes with heels, one of my neighbors daughters ended up falling and spraining her ankle trying to look cute. She was out of a lot of school activities that she loved for months for the sake of vanity.

Nothing wrong with loving chocolate, have a great time and don't worry about your age, life is for living not dwelling on age. Make sure that you have your treats checked out by a responsible adult, there are some people who can be dangerous to be accepting candy from.

My family and I and a lot of our friends throw a huge pumpkin carving party every year as well as a Halloween party which has involved dozens of people of all ages, from infants to people in their nineties. Have a great time.

here is a few concepts: bo-peep a fairy a marionette doll (with the pink circle cheeks, curled hair, a flouncy gown, vibrant eyelashes and strings linked needless to say) a facebook/myspace web site (use cardboard) somebody from a undeniable term 50s,60s,70s,80s(very exciting!) or from medieval/rennaissance many times user-friendly fictional charachter or a fairytale character-Rapunzel, and so on. This one is extraordinarily cheesy yet one in all you ought to string small ceral packing containers on quite rope then stick forks by way of the packing containers and positioned on it around your neck (subsequently THE CEREAL Killer)get it?? Yeah that one may well be to "gay" for you (considering that 13yr olds who do matching costumes are) yet its basically a tenet.

haha hey im 15 and i still dress up.
this year though i decided to still dress up, but just give out candy.
so if you want to go all out you could just go out of the norm & not do something scary but something really funny.
you and your friends could all dress up like the 80's and brings music and dance to it.
the 80's were very gaudy and it's easy to go all out with a theme like that.

Hallow out a rock and carve it into a star and wear it. Party like a rockstar.
