I tried to e-mail my friend in Germany in his native tongue, but replied back to me in perfect English:

Indio I sit here laughing at people trying to answer a question about the French or other European languages. You can tell the ones using these so called tranlattion sites. Firstly they have the nouns and verbs and adjective in the wrong places. They don't know how to use the two French verbs in the right place. It so funny when you see people on this posting answers using these sites. I have a friend on messenger who is Geman and he posted a question on this for a laugh, letting on he was learning German. Well we had fun reading all the so called expert who claim to know German. The funny bit was they were all using the same translation sites lol

Yeah, they REALLY don't work for Russian. I remember one question was "How do you say 'you look awesome' in Russian?" and one of the answers was "you look horrible" in Russian, because the person used a translation site. These sites really shouldn't be used, unless you're trying to get a rough idea of what is written in a foreign language.

Yeah you are right! They do suck! It might help in some words but if you put a sentence it dosn't translate it correctly! Buy hey that's the computer!

I congratulate you for trying to speak another language.
Europeans speak several languages. For them it is normal
