People get real. I am fully aware you don't marry someone on religion alone. It's HYPOTHETICAL. This in the abstract here.

LOL Kveldulf. I have a very good friend who is heathen and debating is what we do best. Argueing...fighting...call it what you will. But I have to agree with you. Freya ROCKS! If you can't lay em, slay em. ;)

Well, certainly, I'd pick somebody with the same belifs as mine. (Ie. Norse Heathen.) In the worst case, I'd insist on SOME sort of a pagan, maybe just not some fluffy wiccan wannabe.
Just for the record, I'm engaged to a Norse Heathen.

Hmmm....
I really don't know! I've never just looked at someone's religion. I suppose since I'm very religious, however, it would have to be someone Heathen or agnostic - otherwise we'd not have much to talk about without arguing.

IF that were the sole factor then I would marry an Asatruar. And even at that it would have to be one that has stong ties to on of these three deities: Odin, Freyja, Loki, otherwise there would be too much conflict...like Skadhi and Njord. At least with someone who was Asatru AND leaned toward one or more of the aforementioned deities we might acutlly be able to have a conversation that DIDN'T degerate into a screaming argument.

I totaly married my first husband because he was a pagan too, as was his family. BIG HUGE massive mistake... But if i had to choose now,(and i cant cuz im married again) Id go with a agnostic. Mainly because since they dont know, then they cant tell me any diffrent.

If I were to sustain a head trauma of some sort and decide to marry again, it would have to be to a Pagan, Wiccan, Buddhist, atheist, or agnostic.

Well, if I am going to be really prejudicial and selective about it, I suppose I should be so specific as to say "Open Agnostic."
Keep in mind that this would still mean that I am rejecting Agnostic Theists, Agnostic Atheists, Closed Agnostics (aka "Strong Agnostics"), and Philosophical Agnostics as well as probably a sundry number of other forms of Agnostics that I do not know about as of yet.
I mean, if you're going to be prejudiced, you may as well be REALLY prejudiced.

I'm a non-denominational Christian, so obviously it would be more practical if I married someone of similar beliefs, but I married a Catholic. Even though we believe in Jesus Christ, our religious beliefs are very different. We love each other anyway, of course!

I would like someone who shared my beliefs, so I would want an agnostic pagan non-Wiccan Witch.

buddhist
atheist - so long as they didn't mind me believing in stuff
maybe some others.
I married a christian but she is not a fundamentalist.
