For me family and friends have become more religious, people that I knew that were once only concerned with making money, party revelors are embracing faith in GOD more than ever
HOWEVER
People I meet at social gatherings are more inclined to be brianwashed by the liberal media and brianwashed by the anti-religious folks, they seem to think the world is in a mess because of President Bush and evangelical christians however when you back them up agaisnt the wall and ask if they want a liberal President that bases morality more on Man rather than GOD they always sing to a different tune.. Most tell me they feel pressured to be PC and when meeting me say it's refreshing to talk to you, because you are so far removed from being PC it's noble
What is your experience?

I have been raised in a religious family and thus are my children.
I do not know what liberal means.. if one is following a particular faith, what is there by adding liberal to it.. there are no liberal ways only right or wrong ways..
We believe in one God and we must respect other faiths and all that is in this Universe is a Creation of our Great Creator.

There is nothing more and nothing less.

the reason some religions are against gays is as a results of the fact 2 gay or comparable sexed human beings can't reproduce. G-d destroyed towns like Sodom for its sinning. The Christian faith teaches to hate the sin or incorrect doing yet love the sinner for all have sinned and fall wanting the respect of G-d. The Jewish faith will settle for you for how else will you get to comprehend and love G-d while you at the instant are not taught. We each and each have a pass to undergo in this life. some human beings are thieves, some commit adultery, some are murderers-which for my section is the worst. many faiths coach that all and sundry sin is alike yet there are levels of sin. this is worse to homicide somebody that to scouse borrow their funds. Why? because of the fact once you homicide somebody, they gained't have destiny generations, so which you impact others and it hurts the full family members. solid success to you. Sin is relaxing for awile yet there is mostly a cost to pay. G-d provides each and each persons a feeling of right and incorrect to comprehend what's powerful and what's incorrect and G-d says choose not lest you be judged which means your being gay is between you and your Maker.

All of them have stayed exactly the same as far as I know. My family aren't religious, but some of my friends are, to varying degrees.

Oh and none of them have ever expressed a preference for a leader who was more religious, probably because they know of the tragedies this sort of thing has caused. Whether it's a liberal or a conservative has little to do with it.

My parents made us 4 kids go to church regularly, and they seemed like they liked it, although we kids hated it. I used to cry because I didn't understand why we were there. Then my mom decided we wouldn't go anymore because churches just wanted money.
All 4 of us kids are atheists now. Parents started going to church a little more now that they are retired, but they don't know that we are all atheists. We just avoid the subject.
I think a lot of adults have realized that religion doesn't have to be a way of life, and all that stuff is just a story, not a guidebook.

Less 'religious' and more 'spiritual'. My inner circle are mostly coming to realize that they can be closer to God than an organized church will allow them to be, and therefore are rejecting the organized religion in exange for following their own paths.

The possible exception to this is my moms, who is attending a church for the first time and is really just starting to explore her spirituality and her reliationship with God. She's the beginner in this respect to where the most of us are. She attend church regularly and is encouraged and excited by it. She picked a Unitarian Universalist church without any of our influence, and I think it's wonderful that she's getting exposed to so many different ways to worship.

I seem to meet more and more atheists, and my family is mostly atheist as well.

I actually don't think a lot of my friends really analyze it that much. They are more worried about whether a basketball player got arrested or who is dancing with a hooker on some TV show.

Most of my family is about the same religious-wise as they always were. Almost every member of my family is christian ~and~ liberal.

Oh, and none of us voted for that waste of space in the white house - you think he cares about the voting bloc he used to push him in office? No, he cares only about the big business that keeps his almighty dollars rolling in.

More religious but less Christian. We've all left Christianity, mostly for paganism or Buddhism.

It's funny that the Democrats condemn Bush for what he does, yet when asked, they say they will do the same thing.
