Since you have absolutely not one shred of empirical evidence of your God's existence, you can only "imagine" it. Your Bible has been PROVEN time and again to be nothing more than copy from more ancient, older religions. The only "inspiration" used were the deletions, insertions and other forms of editing in an effort to make it more believable to the masses. You cannot deny these facts if you have any honesty about you.

work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the Lord. WHOEVER DOES ANY WORK ON IT MUST BE PUT TO DEATH.
Well, why aren't Christians following the Bible and executing those who work on Sunday?

I just don't get it . I dont get the whole idea of jesus .I have a lot of questions and doubts.

First : if jesus is dead then how come we still pray to him?
Second:If Jesus is capable to help us here how come he wasnt capable to help him self when he was on the crossed?
Third:why has the bibble changed every now and then by our leaders? notice,in ten years it will change it will be like " gays WERE born that way".
Fourth : why god didnt help his son when he was on the crossed?
fiveth: why god sent his son why didnt he send his daughter?

you know what i think ? i think that we were born to believe the bibble and its storied without even questioning it .i was raised christian untill at some point i stopped being one.you know im not muslim but some muslim said something very interesting
he said" in order to you to believe christians you need to have wild imagination, but all what you need are your brain and commen sesne when it comes to Islam"
why would god want a son in?

I've never come out. But, I was wondering if anyone unexpectedly ended relationships because they were not accepted. Lost a close friend that you thought would be there for you? I thought I had some people I wanted to tell, until they said something... negative. So I won't tell them, but are they worth keeping as friends? I'd like to hear other people's experiences.

what is the religious justification for owning a mercenary company and also giving money (possibly from US Gov Contracts) to christian nation groups?

Richard and his wife Helen operate the Richard and Helen DeVos Foundation and are known to have associations or donated to right-wing groups such as Focus on the Family, the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation.

i can speak three (English of course, Spanish and Navajo) most people around here speak at least two languages (I'm in the Southwestern USA (Arizona to be more specific) ,a good deal of people in this region speak two or more languages because of our proximity to Mexico and the indigenous people that live here as well, I'm curious about people in Europe , seems to me that there are SOOO many languages there i would assume most everyone speaks multiple languages? also how prominent is the English language in Europe, do most people speak English as well as there own language? and lastly if i were to travel in Europe is there any language that is "universal" so to say, for instance if you live in North America of course English is universal but if you go to south America even though there are many languages you can get away with speaking Spanish and do just fine almost everyone knows it, is there an equivalent to that in Europe? sorry for the over complicated question.

Why would people wish to follow a version which was translated centuries ago when people had less knowledge about sacred languages when they now do? It's well known that the King James Version, although beautiful, does not come up to modern standards of linguistic fidelity and textual accuracy.
People say that modern translations are heretical; but essentially, it is the original texts they are calling heretical, because the modern translations are closer to the original! :-(

In their hubris, the atheist scum at the Freedom From Religion Foundation have created a bible quiz. They think they know more than the Christians about our sacred scriptures.

This quiz is long, so don't take it now. It will eat up valuable Y!A time. I only give you the link so you can check it out later. If you get a question wrong they provide you with chapter and verse supporting their answer. Christians and Atheists; how much do you think you know about the Bible?

Won't you all test your knowledge of the Bible, or are you afraid to find out how little you know?
