Owen Wilson is a good man who does not have the vanity of many of the other "stars". All should pray for his recovery and well being. Those who tell you that suicide is a mortal sin have not read the gospel, and also most likely believe their fate rests in the clouds. Christ cries for those who would come to this point, however, it has what that has brought you here which you will be judged for, not the act itself.

dear god people, everyday hundreds of Americans attempt suicide, just because Owen Wilson is a movie star we should all automatically start praying for him?
celebs get enough special treatment, they dont need any from god.

Public prayer, Agree or disagree with the Apostle Matthew?
Matthew 6:1-4
Pure-hearted Giving
6:1 “Be 1 careful not to display your righteousness merely to be seen by people. 2 Otherwise you have no reward with your Father in heaven. 6:2 Thus whenever you do charitable giving, 3 do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in synagogues 4 and on streets so that people will praise them. I tell you the truth, 5 they have their reward. 6:3 But when you do your giving, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 6:4 so that your gift may be in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you
(Matthew 6:5-8).
"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him"

Death Proof? I just saw that! Great film by the way. I don't know why it got such crappy reviews - I guess everyone wanted to tear Mr Tarantino down.
I didn't pray for him, no. Hope he gets through it OK, though.

Me too, but I kind of stopped after a week. Thanks for the reminder. I've also been praying for britney, paris and Lindsay, they really need Jesus.
I prayed for them on my own. The celebs God's actually told me to pray for are: Nicole Kidman, Trent Reznor and Hugo Chavez.

His suicide attempt. I don't pray, but I know what suicide feels like. I just hope everything goes OK for him.
