Honestly, not thinking seems to be more a fundamentalist way, not a Christain way.
They would also have tacked verses from the Bible to the end of their post, showing where they are allowed to think for themselves. I am refreshingly pleased you didn't include this irony.

Amen. I saw that on your last question. That's why God gave us "free will" to think and choose for ourselves. Be it right or wrong. But that is what free will is all about. Choosing the right thing.

to what extent would you entertain these ideas:
satan wrote the bible
god doesn't intervene in the universe
humans are apes
perhaps it's unfair to say that you're not supposed to think but there do seem to be some things that you're not supposed to think about.
