If that doesn't work - it IS and Acme product - I would use any solid 12 Gauge for close in ranges, such as Remington, Mossberg, Benelli or Beretta.

For mid-ranges, a quality 5.56 or 6.8 carbine, like LWRC's Gas Piston rifle, fitted with an Aimpoint M2 - the Army's M68 Close Combat Optical sight. Or the 4x32 Trijicon Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight for a little distance.

Speaking from experience, avoid M4 types like The Plague!

And loaded with hollowpoints, that goes without saying.

For long range, a Springfield Armory M14 or Heckler & Koch SR9 with a ten power optical sight.



But if they get close enough for you to need a pistol, use it on yourself before they get you!

Lol! Love S.E.L.'s answer! All master zombie hunters agree that the brain must be destroyed, but, I would suggest fire. Easy to set up a trap, and they are slow to move, so wouldn't get out quickly. Hard to move if you're a skeleton. Otherwise, a shotgun in close quarters to the face outta do the trick. Works on humans to!
