my wife decided to take jesus into her heart and have her name taken off the mormon role. ..

however, her parents have basically disowned her and have blamed me for her actions, which baffles my mind to begin with.. her dad drinks a gallon of coca cola a day and her mom does not wear her temple panties...


should we try to smooth things over with them and get them back into our lives or should we go on without them?

I ask you this in the least offensive way possible and I do not intend to cause conflict. But why does it seem that a majority of black people will defend there own people regardless of what they are accused of if the victim is white? These six black kids beat the living hell out of a white kid, could have killed him, and thousands of black people are protesting in defense of these six criminals. During the O.J. trial, there were black people who actually said that they hope O.J. got off even if he did it. This hurts me personally because when I grew up, most of my heroes were black. To think that if six black men beat me close to death, the people who I greatly admire would protest in defense of the people who did it makes me want to cry. I know that there has been much more injustice against your people than their has mine, but two wrongs do not make a right. We all need to think as humans, not as black people, white people, or Hispanic people.

Is it really a sin to have a hand shandy once in a while? Seriously? If so, no wonder fundies are so completely insane! I am firmly of the belief that denying oneself access to nature's own stress relief is just plain ridiculous, and the buildup of tension just makes you become all bitter and twisted, and thoroughly unpleasant human beings.

It makes it seem God is hypersensitive and egotistical, needing praise, though he is all powerful.
Why is the first commandment to love him with all your heart, mind and soul - how do you love someone you have read about in a book? It is like loving someone you have read of in a novel - they don't talk to you and communicate with you either and you can't get to know them.
