One side of me believes in god and the other side is more spiritual and agrees with buddhist philosophy. So what do I call myself?

In regards to what Jeancommunicates wrote...I do not believe all that. There is no proof. People lie all the time. And honestly, I feel that the bible is just the best selling fiction book of all time. Please don't take offense to what I have said. But it is how I feel and what I believe.

Your' first answer is best,go by your' name.When asked what religion you are,simply reply "mine".Interested people will ask more,uninterested people wont and religious zealots will denounce you,which,of course,says a lot of good things about your' character.:)

Lost and an unbeliever in Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ wasn't God then who was Jesus? This man that walked the earth that has 66 books of the Bible written about Him is the most famous man whoever walked on this earth. More is written and published about Him than any other person. He said He was God. He performed miracle after miracle that haven't been performed since. He died on a cross for the sins of the world and arose the third day and His body was never found. Five hundred people saw Him walking the earth after the resurrection along with other people who had previously died. Yes, He made the captives free and took them to heaven with Him. Abraham's bosom went to heaven.

Nobody says you "have" to. Of course, there's also nothing wrong in and of itself with having a label if you feel it accurately reflects you.
At the very least, you can find words ending in "~ism" that at least describe different components of your beliefs, and string those together. And regardless of what beliefs you have, there are already words out there for it.

Life is not a bout religions it's about a true relationship with God through Jesus
bible says You cannot have two Lords! because you will love one more than the other!

stop worrying - try to ATLEAST once read Islam
its being potraid as something very dangerous where as the main world Salam means Peace
just get to some near book store and get an Islamic book, u'll see something very new and realistic

It's all about control. Religious leaders want to tell you what to think, what to wear, what music to listen to (rule of thumb: real music, with passion and sincerity, is right out!) so obvoiusly they'll want to enforce their memeplex, and the best way to do that is to have everyone else's memeplex declared evil.

You are a spiritual being. You don't have to pick one belief, you can have several. It's ok to explore and pick what works best for you.
