I am curious. I have talked to many Christians and they say God would not create someone as gay, meaning, no one would be born gay.

I disagree. I am looking for some Biblical evidence that God would not make someone gay (but He would allow a child to be raped, tormented, and murdered.)

In the Old Testament, the is a list of people who could not come before God (one leg shorter than the other, etc...) yet God created them? Would God have created someone and not allowed them into the Tabernacle?

Incidentally, I believe homosexuality is a sin, but I believe the issue is far more complicated than Christians want to think because it is easier for some Christians to hate homosexuals than it is to reach out to them.

Can both be true? God creates homosexuals and homosexuality is a sin? I think a resounding YES. I am looking for opinions and biblical evidence to the contrary. Please no verses on homosexuality being a sin; I concede this already. Also, please no bigoted responses about homosexuals, God clearly loves us all.

Do you think it's right that the Vatican is filled with UNBELIEVABLE amounts of wealth, gold, and priceless objects, while just outside there are starving beggars? I went to Italy this year and saw this for myself, hmmm, would Jesus approve?

What makes you think they got anything else right or could tell what was or wasn't the word of God? Jews have had The Messiah prophecies a lot longer than Greeks and Romans, so they knew exactly what was prophecied and what wasn't. Yet, somehow Greeks and Romans have convinced the world that they know Hebrew prophecy better than Hebrew, and that their version of the Jewish Messiah fulfills the prophecies (of course, they never state what those prophecies are, because they know they have no list, just a bunch of scriptures that they took out of context).

Chrisitans, why do you never ask Jews about Jewish scripture? You are being terribly deceived if you think Jesus is the Jewish Messiah, and all one has to do is ask a Jew what the prophecies are. But I don't expect you to do that. You like your beliefs unfounded and completely detached from the religion from which it came, so I expect you'll just brush this off as blaspheme.

But what would a Jew say about this?

in a new directive nothing must be worn below the elbow(rings watches etc.) in order to eliminate superbugs. Watta lotta crapola!!! The things to do in order to help would be 1. Make sure that doctors, like nurses, wash their hands after each patient and 2. bring back the NHS employed domestics who took a pride in "their" ward and were part of the team and not paid rubbish money, expected to do too much work in too short a time with no sick pay,in order to line the pockets of contractors. There, I've said it. What do you think?

Is it just a personality difference?

Does it have to do with how we were raised?

If there were empirical evidence of, for instance, God, would it change anything for those that don't worship?

Why is there no mention of Jesus outside the Bible or Koran?

I was disappointed because I wanted to know where Jesus is mentioned outside the Bible & Koran (surely he must have been!)

Please cite... otherwise your words are meaningless to me

God calls each of us to be visionary leaders, but we must (((be careful))) that vision is born out of (((His Spirit, and His Word,))) not the latest self-help program. These ideas lead us away from dependence on God to a self-based psychology designed to give us more power, prosperity, and significance.

The result is heresy. Our faith in God becomes faith in faith. It is born out of hard work and diligence rather than obedience to God's Spirit. The problem lies in that these philosophies sound good, and can even be supported by some Bible verses. Beware of anything that puts the burden of performance on you rather than God. There are times in our lives when God doesn't want us to climb every mountain. Sometimes He wants us to go around. Knowing the difference is the key to being a man or woman led by the Spirit and Word of God.

Such as celebrating Ester, this false pagan goddess is
associated with intercourse and fertility to include rabbits and eggs.

KJV - Acts 12:4
And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after EASTER to bring him forth to the people.

NIV -
After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the PASSOVER.

American Standard -
When he had seized him, he put him in prison, delivering him to four (A)squads of soldiers to guard him, intending after the PASSOVER to bring him out before the people.

That the fruit was an apple when in fact the Bible does not say what type of fruit it actually was but only that it looked desirable to the eyes of Eve.

(Genesis 3:6) . . .Consequently the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was something to be longed for to the eyes, yes, the tree was desirable to look upon. So she began taking of its fruit and eating it. . .

There are many kinds of Nigerian Scams. One is a romance scam just like going on to a dating site and you chat with what seems like a nice girl or guy and you get taken in. that doesn't seem like greed driven. intelligent driven or lack or, or poor ill educated. I saw a similar question on here last week and all the answers were aimed at poor people, greedy people and non educated. most answers were as if none of us could be taken in. Google the name peterwalcolt and see the website on romance scams and read all about it. Btw peter walcolt is a made up name don't worry.

if youre born in a country that is mostly christian, you will most likely be christian or atheist(because christian countries give the right). if youre born in muslim country, you will most likely be muslim. same for hindus, same for buddhists. most people dont choose their religion, its taught to them.

but who taught you that your religion is true and the other religions are false? an old book? every religion claims to have miracles. every religion has contradictions and proof for itself. why do you think your religion is better or truer than another, if most of you have never tried it? if there is someone who has tried *all* religions and says that my toilet seat is the true god, then ok.

they all claim that they are the right way. why? any "god" could have done the miracle right? even a toilet seat.
