I'll agree that the only type of evolution is micro-evolution (variation within one kind) if you'll agree that all living things are of the "life" kind. Do you accept?

I have studied science, philosophy, and some theology. I do not believe that there is a contradiction between faith and reason. So many are so glib about science and the bible. They are so self confident. I am suspect of all these people. There are more things that we do not know, than we do know. The bible has so many scientific, historical, and literary errors. So what! That doesn't prove or disprove its theological meaning. That was the standard of society in that era. God gave us brains. He expects us to use them. It is not easy for us sophisticated moderns to judge wisely. The ancients thought differently about life and society than we moderns. Do we really understand a society where you had to be what your father was? If you tried to be anything else, you brought disfavor on your house, on your family. You were dishonoring your parents. How can we understand biblical writers, if we can not understand this?
