Considering humans will trample each other to get the newest things going in life I have a feeling if someone showed up that is very Christ like declaring they're God 90% of the population will run straight into the gates of hell without giving it a second thought.

The humble seeker's mind is empty to receive the precious dew of understanding. His emotion is now quiet-waiting for the intelligence to whip it into the fury of true direction-the body still-waiting like a great ship for the Power.

Any kind of undue emotional excitement deprives us of the reaction to the thrill of our own higher self.

Any motion, no matter how pious, is nothing but an empty act, the vain reflection of an empty teacher, void of truth.

With fanfare and noise, the image-makers distract us, teach us, and lead us from our own inside revelation. Slapping on a veneer of truth and knowledge like a coat of paint that cracks in the noon-day sun, they excite us, motivate us-causing us to like like nice, educated dummies and herds of sheep.

I wonder which are you ?

Now what say you ?

Jesus said believe and repent. Can you really do this when you are a baby? When you get older can this really save you? The answer is NO.

Of course this depends on the type of question but in general would you like to have straight information and knowledge about your question or would you prefer someone share a personal experience as an answer to your question?

Which is more credible?

It saddens me to say that of late, this once pleasant, funny, interesting, genuine and LGBT friendly forum has gone severely downhill. Where did the mass influx of trolls and children with nothing better to do come from? Why are our fellow LGBT answerers now being suspended for blatantly idiotic reasons? I know people will scream "freedom of speech" but it works both ways. If you really hate or are offended and disgusted by us that much, then there are hundreds of other forums for you to go to. We don't look for your approval.

Where in the NT does it speak out against getting tattoos?

I believe the actual scripture is in the Original Testament and was part of the Kosher laws for the Israelites. I do not think it was ever meant for the Gentiles.

I am pretty certain it is not a Noahide law.

my favorite part is when he says "if you act like a gentlemen you get treated with respect" and then promptly spits on the stage.

Man can be a model being, molded by perfect concepts and perfect action, yet be a dead zombie inside. Without the daily exercise, the spirit of understanding dies.

God is the only true teacher. Only what is revealed to the intellect of man, inwardly, passes the refreshing Light to man's body. As little and as slowly as it is, its illumination might be compared with all man's great knowledge. It possesses the only True Life and Growth from within.

What say you all ?

There is evidence of horrific abuse suffered by those both in and out of the EB. They call themselves 'Christian Brethren' but, as is so often the case with insular religious cults, the truth is just the opposite.

What do christians and creationists think about them..?
Are you sympathetic or do you denounce cultism..?

My college professor told me that Beowulf was actually written by a 18th century polygamist interest in profiting on the revived interest in ancient books. Is that true? He said anyone who still thinks its like from the 11 century is naive or uneducated.

I don't feel the inventors of the idea of rapture had much faith in their ability to pass the final test so they made up a way to avoid it.

The whole point of the end of time prophesy is to test ones faith isn't it, if your not here whose faith is it testing? And I don’t think Gods testing your faith in him but your faith in yourself.

Ever noticed a liar thinks everyone else lies, a thief is always worried about someone stealing their stuff, someone that talks about others is always worried about others talking about them. I don’t feel a person with no faith in oneself could ever have faith in a God.

I feel all humans needs to be and will be here for this test.

You're going to visit a guy friend. It starts out as a short visit but you end up staying so late that you are better off staying over. It might be a platonic visit, or it might not -- but either way, you don't have any personal items with you. What amenities would you want/love to find in the bath? What your guy friend have to provide to be going the extra mile?

What sets you apart from the rest of the world? Do you spend Sunday in church but live as the rest of the world during the week. Do you dress inappropriately to impress your pagan friends, speak vulgar language, love the material things of the world. Do you think of yourself more highly than you should.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 says:

14 Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? 15 What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? 16 And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said:

“I will live in them
and walk among them.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
17 Therefore, come out from among unbelievers,
and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord.
Don’t touch their filthy things,
and I will welcome you.
And I will be your Father,
and you will be my sons and daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.[d]”

Doesn't the Lord's Prayer ask:

Our Father, who art in heaven...yada yada...

...And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil...

Now prayers are, as I understand it, pleas to the sky god for guidance and assistance. Why is the prayer begging "Our Father" to NOT lead us into temptation, but rather to take us away FROM evil.

Why ask the sky god to stop tempting us?

Is he that wicked and such a trickster that he needs to tempt us? Is he continually tempting us? Isn't temptation evil? Isn't that Satan's job?
