As far I know this is not from the Bible is may be from some other text.
And for labohemianartis the New Testament was written in Greek. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew. Latin was used for much early church history and the writings of many early Christians.

well to the person who said it wouldnt be written in Greek is dead wrong. the Bible was originally written in Greek so go back to history class.
And for some churches, there is an inscription, but i dont know what it is. but God never leaves a church, in fact, God never leaves anywhere. He is omnipresent and He is everywhere you are!

There is a story in the Bible where the Israelites were defeated. The Priest and his sons were killed and the Ark of the Covenant was taken. The Priests daughter in law named her baby Ichabod, meaning, the glory has departed.
