It saddens me to say that of late, this once pleasant, funny, interesting, genuine and LGBT friendly forum has gone severely downhill. Where did the mass influx of trolls and children with nothing better to do come from? Why are our fellow LGBT answerers now being suspended for blatantly idiotic reasons? I know people will scream "freedom of speech" but it works both ways. If you really hate or are offended and disgusted by us that much, then there are hundreds of other forums for you to go to. We don't look for your approval.

Exactly Viktor, some of the great characters from the forum have either disappeared completely, or just don't come on as much.

Thank you for finally saying that. If people have issues with LGBT then they shouldn't care so much as to be so hurtful.
This part doesn't have to do with the issue at hand but, your writing is wonderful, the flow is almost poetic.

I don't come here as frequently as I should, but I HAVE noticed a deterioration of the quality of questions and answers over the past few months. I keep hoping it will turn around, but, sadly, I don't think it will. Too many idiots have infiltrated this subject area, and all they do is mock and make fun of the people who truly belong here. How do we fix that? None of these subjects is moderated, so how do we filter out the ones who don't belong so the ones who really need this place can prosper?

Well, I for one come back on occasion. I had been a top answerer here for a while, but due to troll issues, I left for a while. I come back on occasion. Quite frankly, I will ALWAYS be here. I am just going to be MUCH more selective of which questions I take the time to answer. I think THAT is the solution. To just have a small group of people that you answer questions from, and ignore all of the troll questions!

I agree 100%, I barely come on anymore. It's not fun anymore but it has become more of a forum of hate. It's a catch 22, I don't like the trolls, but if we leave, they win.
What I fail to understand, is that people who disagree so blatantly with homosexuality, spend SO much time on the board spewing hate.

I agree with you and yeah sometimes it gets out of control. But hey it's a part of life. Everyone is afraid of something that they do not understand. It's always the question to ask yourself of whether you are going to go up and meet someone knew. You are going to gossip to your friends about the new person and kind rag on them a little before you even get the courage to go up to meet them. What I am saying is, you don't understand the person you are either going to hate on them or you are going to go and talk to them. This is the same way we are. =)

We don't look for the approval, but a lot seem to want to come in here and tell us how horrible we are, spread lies, clone us, and try to get us banned. It's because we are happy with who we are. For some reason us being happy REALLY bothers some people. I really believe it all comes down to that old saying, "misery loves company." So trolls and haters try to completely ruin this forum for us.

Its unfortunate. Kids have a really short attention span, so hopefully they'll lose interest and stop trolling.
I think people have lost sight of the fact that we support people on this forum, and don't tear them down. If they want to come tell us that gay is evil, this isn't a great place to do it.
