Well you don't want to have too many feminine items in your bathroom because that just makes it look like a Motel 6 for women and that can be quite a turn off. Clean towels, a full bar of soap, plenty of toothpaste and maybe a brand new toothbrush (not an expensive one) that is un-opened, one you can pass off as an extra for yourself. Shampoo AND conditioner, Suave is fine really, women don't expect men to understand hair needs. An extra razor and shaving cream or let her use yours. =) Let's not forget toilet paper as well, but above all make sure it's CLEAN! Nothing is worse than a nasty bathroom!

It's handy to keep some brand new toothbrushes (still in the pack), toothpaste and a pack of combs in the bathroom for unexpected guests, and of course some nice clean towels. Some fresh clean sheets and an unopened bottle of water would also be appreciated.
If you want to go the extra distance for occasional overnight guests, some non-scented shower gel, neutral shampoo and conditioner, a plastic shower cap and a comfy bath robe in a super big size would be very considerate.
None of these things have to be very expensive ~ most supermarkets have budget priced items which can be purchased and put aside for future use (don't buy 'budget shampoo and soap, though ~ that is a no-no), and stored in a 'bath bag' so they don't get in your way or attract dust and mess.
Cheers :-)

A washcloth, a big towel, a new disposable razor, a new disposal toothbrush, nail polish remover, a nail file, a sample size shampoo/creme rinse/ soap/ toothpaste - like at hotels. You can buy all this stuff at the travel section at Kmart/Target etc. Anytime I stay at a hotel I bring the stuff home I don't use.
Don't buy specific female stuff - just generic stuff. But if you want to be really helpful - get a few tampons from a friend and include those too.
Put the little stuff in a plastic container of some sort and label it HELP YOURSELF

My buddy & i spent a night below a table in an exterior eating place on the island of Santorini, Greece. We did attempt to get a room, yet as we've been backpacking on the time & had only arrived, we couldnt get one. yet another night, on the island of Ios (additionally Greece), we ended up walking into the mountains & napping in a cave ! 2 years we spent traveling around the islands of Greece, it became amazing. @ Thanx Carol, we did have some relaxing.

Clean bathroom, new toothbrush, new soap, extra towels (2), robe, brush, gel, hair dryer, floss, mouth wash. 1 pair of socks. No, it's not being high maintenance at all... you want her to feel at home after all, don't you?? =D
[Side note: I think you want it to be more than platonic if you're actually planning to have these items!! wink!!] hehe. have fun!!! Have socks, seriously... she'll think you're so sweet!! Why u ask? in case it's a cold night, she wouldn't want to go to bed with cold feet!! hehe.

New toothbrush, toothpaste, clean bathroom, toilet seat down, clean linens, a handy flashlight or night light, handy glass of water, mouthwash (you never know!), tissues, washcloth, clean bar of soap. Oh, and in case you both get lucky, it's nice for the guy to have protection hidden away discretely instead of assuming the woman always has to be prepared.

I don't want to see much more than his french cologne in the bathroom & I would be impressed to see skin care products.
Any amenities for women would imply that he is a little to used to stray women staying over and would be a turn off for me.

i would say keep it simple or it will like having girls stay overnight is a "usual" thing, which is kind of a turn-off.
clean towels and washcloths
nice shampoo/conditioner (not guy stuff)
unopened bar of soap (get dove or oil of olay)
face wash (noxzema in the blue tub is a safe choice)
small bottle of lotion (just regular stuff, like jergens or dove)
that would be enough for one night

Oh come on! You are so full of it. Hopefully the bathroom is clean, and so are you. And a box of perhaps new toothbrushes for his own sake.
