Why did the Apostle Peter become a Saint?

Let us not forget that he denied Jesus not once but actually THREE TIMES....

How come the Cathoholic Church was founded by him?

And since the Pope is St. Peter's successor, does that mean that each Pope has also denied Jesus, who by Christian "logic" is ALSO the Holy Spirit, and ergo, the Pope is also doomed to suffer in the throes of HELL???

Malachi 3:3..."He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver..."

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what
this statement meant about the character and nature of God. One of the
women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to
the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to
watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her
interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire
and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to
hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest
as to burn away all the impurities.

She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in
front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.

The man answered yes - he not only had to sit there holding the silver,
but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the
fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would
be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, "How
do you know when the silver is fully refined?"

He smiled at her and answered, "Oh, that's easy...when I see my image
in it."

I mean racism is the belief that your race is superior to all other races.

Fundamentalism is the belief that your religion is the absolute truth and all other religions are false.

Also fundamentalism, like racism, has lead to violence (surely I don't need to give you an example).

Nobody is a philosopher these days because no one thinks conceptually anymore. Imagination is a concept, just as God is a concept, but it's one thing to imagine a God exists, it's quite another to God a God exists. You following me?

And so if you can't think conceptually, how can you possibly know what reality is? Most people think that if you believe or understand science, you are thinking realistically. But you're not. You're merely believing the concepts someone else is thinking about. So you're not existing in your own mind, you're existing in someone elses mind. Which means you are only a figment of their imagination. So atheists, if you exist enough to hear me, Richard Dawkins is your God because you exist within his conscious thoughts, not your own.

And so of course you can't understand what God is, because God is not a what. The problem is that if it is an object at all, which it's probably not, our minds are pointed in the wrong direction to begin with.

The scientific community has accepted the Theory of Evolution as scientific fact for at least the last 50 years.

If evolution is a lie and we were created as we are now, then this must mean that the scientific community is lying to us, and has been for at least 50 years.

There must be a vast conspiracy amongst scientist to have started and maintain this lie.

Can you please explain how a community of thousands of people have managed to keep this vast conspiracy a secret? How come there have been no confessions from any of these thousands of people. How come thousands more have quietly joined the conspiracy rather than reveal it?

How do all these scientist and technicians keep publishing papers based on a false premise? Millions of papers have been published that are underpinned by evolution. How have this conspiracy been able to produce this vast number of documents without ever slipping up?

Pay attention to ho he begins and ends his letters. I have read but still do not understand the style in which I am supposed to be wrting in. How would I begin and end it if I were writing about violence?

I hate to be labelled or discriminated against myself...

-However, when I see people with children enter a theater or a restaurant...I cringe when I think they may sit next to me. I fear that they will not behave well, will be loud, will be up and about, etc...
-If I owned rental property, I would think twice about renting to someone with children, because many times those homes are not maintained well, etc...
-I also know that those that I work with whom have children, miss work far more than those without children...leaving the rest of us to pick up the slack

This, and I love my neices and nephews and thoroughly enjoy spending time with them...and their "noise" does not bother me...however, they are well behaved, and I know one word from a person of authority and they mind well.

Your thoughts? Do you have these same thoughts? Is this prejudice?

So, what are your thoughts

If a person has free will, then a person determines their own actions.
If God controls everything, then He determines the action of a person.
If He determines the action of a person, then it is false that a person determines their own actions.
It is false that a person determines their own actions and it is false that a person determines their own actions.
Therefore, it is either that it is false that a person has free will or it is false that God controls everything.
