Mormons and Walmart?

A Sister missionary decides to try horseback riding, even though she has had no lessons, or prior experience.
She mounts the horse unassisted and the horse immediately springs into motion.
It gallops along at a steady and rhythmic pace, but the blonde begins to slip from the saddle.
In terror, she grabs for the horse's mane, but cannot seem to get a firm grip.
She tries to throw her arms around the horse's neck, but she slides down the side of the horse anyway.
The horse gallops along, seemingly impervious to its slipping rider.
Finally, giving up her frail grip, she leaps away from the horse to try and throw herself to safety.
Unfortunately, her foot has become entangled in the stirrup. She is now at the mercy of the horse's pounding hooves as her head is struck against the ground over and over again.
As her head is battered against the ground, she is mere moments away from unconsciousness when to her great fortune......
Wal-Mart manager see her and turns horse o

I am scottish and have lived most of my life in England.
when I first moved to England I found that the irish scottish asian and afro-caribean were looked down on by certain people.
I lived in leeds and Bradford and became quite close to other families from different countries .when going about we would be told to get back to our own country and called names.
this was an every day thing, yet our country is not racist,or so the goverment say...
why do english people always tell jokes about the irish scotch and black man??we here in scotland think this is racist, what do you think....

I'm having a blonde moment, sorry!

The long dressy things with the trousers underneath? What are they called? And does anyone know any online UK sites that sell just plain black ones?

Thanks!

Don't you think that the terrorist acts in different countries, against different nations committed by terrorist-muslims cause hate and fear towards Muslim people and ruin the reputation of Islam?
I'm Christian and I ask myself this question frequently.
Why should I fear, when I see a simple woman in yashmak or veil (don't know how is it named) or a man with a muslim look?

I would describe my friend as quite forthright. The other night, she had left a message on my mobile to say she had won a pair of tickets (just something simple, nothing flash) and asked me if I'd be interested. The tickets didn't have an expiry date on them, so we could have gone any time. She left a message saying, "If I don't hear from you by 9.30pm tonight, I'll assume you don't want to go". I don't like being 'timed' in this manner and I didn't get her message until the next morning, as I turn my phone off as soon as I leave work. I have arranged plenty of nights out together and have never 'forced' her to decide when or if she'd like to go at all. I respected her to get back to me when she was ready. What do you think? I've also been a victim of crime, which she knows about.

Here in Australia we are going through a big drought. Here in Melbourne the water dams are 38% full. John Howard wants the whole country to have recycled water by 2008. Yuck! I will not be drinking sewage water. That is absolutely gross. Howard is looking at spending 10 billion on the water crisis. I will not mind showering in it, washing my clothes in my machine in it, but I will not wash my dishes or drink that crap. What would you do? I would rather move to New Zealand as thy have rain all the time, at least I will be drinking normal water. People say there is no choice, because if we do not go recycled then we will not have any water left in a few years, and people will die. Yes that is true, but I tell you i will not be drinking sewage water. Do you blame me?

How many Mormons does it take to change a light bulb?
A: At least six: One to change the light bulb; one to deny that there was any change made; one to say that we shouldn't focus on the change--only the need for light; one to say we don't teach that the light bulb needed changing in the first place; one to say that the changer was acting for himself and not as an official changer; and one to say "who cares who changed the bulb, don't you feel the burning of the light?

The duplicates paradox

Here is a very fascinating paradox, I often think of it. Let us assume that we can make an exact duplicate of you. I know how this is completely impossible, but let us use our imagination and say this is in the far future. If you were to die, and later a duplicate of you were to be created would this duplicate be you? Here is why I think it is fascinating, a lot of Atheists will say it is not. But when asked to give a reason why it is not them they can not give a good reason.

I myself am an Atheist and I would think it would be me, I think it would be a continuation of my self identity and conscious. But let us add another factor. If by mistake you were still alive and a duplicate of you were to be made, then which would be the real you?

Honestly now, does this not throw you into complete confusion, take a few seconds and think about it. My answer is that they would both be me as self awareness is an illusion, but honestly it is ..

I recently visited my favourite eating establishment and to my dismay they had run out of my preffered caviar! I summoned my limousine and have vowed never to return. Furthermore I did not tip the maitre'd lavishly as I normally would (as you can understand I'm sure). Would you be equally incensed at such an affront?

I thought it was just an empty shopping cart, so when I took it this black lady came up to me yelling. Apparently, it was her cart she just hadn't put any merchandise in it yet. So, ok I just gave it back and said sorry. But as she pushed the cart away she snapped back at me "You better recognize, umm-hmm!"

What exactly does this mean? (I am a non-ebonics speaker)
