Why is is that for centuries headstones have stood straight with no aid and SUDDENLY the councils are going around grave yards condemning then as a HEALTH AND SAFETY risk? MY nans headstone was only reset 10 years ago and it too has been laid down as dangerous. What the hells going on? I would forstly say that why should I pay for it to be reset AGAIN when it obviously was not done properly 10 years ago!. Secondly is this just another ploy to extract more money out of us as usual?

Hello everyone!

I would like to do something this Valentines day for my Husband, as he is in the Armyand is leaving to go to Afghanistan for 6 months, soon after.

The problem I have is that I just can't think of something a bit different! It is so much easier for the blokes.
I really just want something to show him that I love him and that I'll miss him.
If you have any ideas, scribble them below.

This is something I've always wondered about. The child has no choice in whom it is born to. Then why do such children continue to be stigmatized? Aren't the ppl who conceived it the real b*****ds?

P.S. I'm not referring to children born to rape victims, but to those ppl who were in the 'heat of the moment'.

Not wanting to boast, but I feel my postman may have taken a liking to me. I gave him an Xmas card (just to show appreciation of his good work and just general friendliness) and since then, he wants to know if I work night's and now, today, he mentioned how 'odd' my maisonette looked and wanted to know if there's an upstairs to it! I don't want to be petty and ring Royal Mail to complain about him, but what should I do? I'm a very friendly, smiley person and I wonder if I've come over as being such.

when you use racist or homophobic language, but feel its ok to call people mong, retard or spastic as an insult? as the mother of a child with downs syndrome i have personal experience of overhearing ignorant people calling their friends (?) these names and feeling my stomach sink knowing that my son will have to bear these names throughout his life.

Have you noticed a considerable difference in the way you get tempted by the devil before you converted and after?

Ive heard of some converts who say that their life has gotten harder in terms of trying to stay away from devils traps and they attribute this to the way the devil works on them more.

I had a dream that I was in a particular room of religious significance (never been in a room like this) with a few other people. I was sitting on the floor with my legs crossed and a woman approached me. I place my thumb and my first finger in the air and she clapped an object over them stating "Strengthen the mind, body, and soul." Then she asked to see my hand and looked at my thumb in particular. I then stated that my thumb was muscular and she said the tendons were severed. I immediately woke up and said the word "pregnancy" without thinking. Unless u think that is the real translation of the dream, dont mention my girlfriend being pregnant because it's an obvious translation and I am lookin for more profound insightI am male, 21, and terrified lol so please respond. I don't come on here often unless to ask a serious question I've been pondering. In my last three questions, one had to do about interracial relationships, and the other two had to do with dog training and sleep insomniac. I wouldn't believe anything some random bloke was alleged to have said hundreds of years ago, let alone thousands of years ago.
Some guys, guessing about the future of mankinds salvation from an age where sexim, racisim, slaves, and superstition were the order of the day!

It seams to me that we give great respect to poeple who devote their lifes to religious causes/orders and no extra respect to people who decided it is a lot of old nonsense, .

I am sick and tired of this evil godless world. Jesus said that in the last days that there will be many who are a lovers of themselfs rather that a lover of God, and many will turn away from their faith and hate and betray one another and the love of many will grow cold. I like the part Jesus said that those who stand firm to the end will be saved. I do not belong in this world, and never have. There was a girl in Sydney the other day who was raped on the city in front of people. How sick is that? Mate, this world is so doomed. I long to go home and soon hoepfully. I know suicide is not a option because I do not want to go to Hell. I have thought about it, but hell would await me if I did. So Christians I am desperate to go home, how about you?If Jesus does not return within 10 years, I want to die and go home then as absent from the body is present with the Lord.
