Hello everyone!

I would like to do something this Valentines day for my Husband, as he is in the Armyand is leaving to go to Afghanistan for 6 months, soon after.

The problem I have is that I just can't think of something a bit different! It is so much easier for the blokes.
I really just want something to show him that I love him and that I'll miss him.
If you have any ideas, scribble them below.

Thanks!

Give him an experience, a memory of the two of you to treasure whilst he is away.

Example - Book a hotel a nice one with on suite jacuzzi preferably by the sea. have a nice quiet dinner, then go for a moonlight strole on the beach, hold hands snuggle up warm. Collect two shells or pebles that you can each keep as momentos. Return to your hotel, get a nice bottle of wine and jump in the jacuzzi. Cherish him, caress him, make love to him. Dry each other tenderly, curl up in each others arms in the beautiful four poster bed (did I forget to mention that bit) and stay like that until you drift in to deep relaxing sleep.

Alternatively if that is to expensive do a DIY version at home. Little touches like designing a menu and making heart shaped toast to go with the pate for starters or heart shaped shortbread to accompany the chocolate orange mousse for desert. Champagne and strawberries on ice in the bedroom and massage oil are always nice too.

What ever you decide it will be special to him because you obviously love him very much. I wish you both all the best x

I can understand this. I get my GF flowers about 10 times a year. She no longer eats chocolate or anything with gluten, which makes things tough. More often than not, i get her little things, (stuffed animals, things to hang in the garden etc all year round.) One V-day she said to me: " this person got flowers, that person got candy..." I basically said: okay, but last week i sent you flowers at work, the week before that i got you a couple of fairies for your garden. hey, if you want me to only remember two, three times a year versus once or twice a week, i could do that and be just like every one else.... she got the point. besides, i hate florist holidays.

I always give my man up to date nude pics ( I think that would come in great since he will be leaving for awhile) and a box of chocolates. Arrange for a very out of the ordinary romantic evening with just the two of you. Give him something to miss. Hope you have fun on whatever you decide to do!

well men are obsest with sex so im guessing get ur best undies on and give him a night to remember. Cook him his favourite meal ever and make everything fancy. Id say put rose petals around the bath and bed! also do something you both enjoy eg. a night in watching a movie, cinema etc.

If you can think of something small he wanted for Christmas or his birthday, that is the best gift. Failing that, a small photo of you that he can take with him, also a bit of candy and maybe flowers for the moment will set the mood for this special Valentine's day.

Hire rent or bribe someone in an amusment park to get the mirror maze for yourself... enter in different entrances... you strip off... He will be surrounded by naked versions of you... only has the hunt the real one.

remote control vibrators he gets the remote all day out of the house, the vib in your undies, he can activate it and make you squirm any time he chooses and be a total immature bratt.

Get a chastity belt and a padlock.Lock it up and give him the key.I think those chastity belts are made of some kind of metal,so after he's gone get a can opener SMILE ----------------------------Gotch 'ya. If he does'nt know how you feel about him he does not deserve you.Happy Valentines and good luck.

Maybe a romance dinner, with music, candles , and dessert, and maybe rent a movie , and cuddle by the fire, and a photo frame of you, or you to together, good luck , and I hoped I helped.

Take him away for a long weekend somewhere, in a nice hotel, and give him the best 'you know what' all weekend. Have a good time, and good luck to him.
