Yep, it's called "atheism".

Not sure. Atheists believe that, but of course Atheism is not a religion. I think most believe in reincarnation or life after death just so their followers will have something to look forward to.

Scientologists believe that we don't actually die but that our true selves move from body to body and never actually experience "death". They believe we're all "thetans" which is something similar to "souls". They believe that our mind and our body are not really "us" and that our "real" selves, so to speak, exist eternally.
So... in that sense, they don't believe "we" ever really die... so technically they don't believe in life after death since the death of our bodies and minds never actually kill our "real" selves.
Of course, Scientology isn't really a religion so I'm not sure if this actually counts. After all, atheism isn't a religion so all the people answering with "atheism" are wrong. Depending on whether YOU consider Scientology a cult determines whether you consider my answer relevant.

it's only because of the hope of life after death did people first create religions and gods.

Good question, I'm not sure actually. There are indeed many "cult" religions that would have you put your beliefs in a living person, in a way that could constitute what you mean. But as in like a mainstream religion? Nope, don't think so.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe the soul is the living body, not a separate entity that lives on after you die. They believe that when you die, there's no afterlife in the spirit realm (boom, boom, out go the lights). Only some selected ones get to live on in the spririt realm as rulers with Jesus.

All religions have a form of afterlife, or thought thereof, because it is something that we will never know for certain until we die that we incorporate into our lives, granted a lot of theories are highly suspect of a 3,000 year old drug addict on an acid trip.

Yup. Deists some pantheists naturalists etc. It's all a matter of perspective. I personally find it awesome that my atoms, at some point billions of years from now, will be reunited with my creator The SUN. I am an atheist.

buddhism - if by 'life after death' you mean an 'afterlife' (in heaven or hell or somewhere), then buddhists believe the journey through life is done once, but then you come back as another life (reincarnation or rebirth, slightly different) - so no 'life after death', more like 'life after life'.
