Don't you think that the terrorist acts in different countries, against different nations committed by terrorist-muslims cause hate and fear towards Muslim people and ruin the reputation of Islam?
I'm Christian and I ask myself this question frequently.
Why should I fear, when I see a simple woman in yashmak or veil (don't know how is it named) or a man with a muslim look?

They're a very small minority but unfortunately they're VERY well-publicized whereas that vast majority of Muslims, like me, oppose the terrorist attacks wherever they take place. Islam teaches us to NOT attack others, and Jihad is merely a word that means to strive for perfectness (Mohamed (PBUH) said: "The greatest Jihad is that against thyself" ), and in context of wars, it means self-defense. Besides, Islam agrees with Christianity that murder is a horrendous crime, and a sinful deed.
BTW: Not all Muslim men have the "Muslim beard", most of them don't (I don't!), but Western media shows us wrongfully. And veils (Hijab) is only a cover for the head, for modesty of women, and is nothing to fear of.

islam as a religion promotes peace just like Christianity ,Judaism,,,,the problem is with the muslims themselves,,they are passing through their medevil times just like christians in the 1300 `s,,,, ,,back then the Muslims opened their doors to christians when europe was sinking in darkness ,Ibn rushed`s philosophy was the guiding light for all scholars of the time, what they need now is from the rest of the world is to support the moderate ones and never spill the blood of the extreme just like the war in iraq,, that will only generate more hatred and new generations of extremests.

Yes I believe it does.. and it's a great problem that we Muslims go through in the West..
You shouldn't... no matter what, those terrorist are a minority but they are well publicized..

First, the veil Called Hijab..and you should not feel fear at all..,not evry one is the same as Bin laden or these kind of people..,yes these people are getting larger and large..but not every one is the same..

It's not that that they are afraid of. They want to take over the West because they feel that we are weak and degenerate.
