when referring to Jesus, Joshua, Jacob, Jeremiah, Jehu, etc, but many get bent out of shape that Jehovah is the Divine Name- using the "that's not how you really pronounce it" excuse?

My girlfriend and I are very close and have had little things happen like we go to call each other at the same time and things like that. But this time I had a song in my head that she had never heard but said she could hear music playing. When I played the song on my computer she said that that was the song she was hearing. What do you tell someone if they keep criticizing everything you bring up in a conversation?

I knew someone would not talk without criticizing every thing that is mentioned, be it an artist, the health system, police, you get the idea ...

You cannot talk about fitness because "meatheads are stupid", every TV show has something wrong, no celeb can be mentioned. He will find the wrong in everything.

I am not kidding.

Holding a conversation with this person is HIGHLY AGGRAVATING.

I often come here... I ask questions to help me build more complex sentences. for example, i know how to say "Me gusta ir a la playa." But I don't know how to contruct a sentence in spanish that says...while the beaches in New Jersey are awesome, bigger, and so much fun...the beaches in Seattle are so much more natural, beautiful.

the problem is that sentence structure in English isn't the same in Spanish.

Does anyone know what I' talking about. Do you have some words of wisdom on how the Spanish language conveys complex ideas about opinion & feeling.

i really want to learn some basic ways. while i know a lot of spanish words, i don't yet know how to have a long meaningful conversation with a spanish-speaking person.

So we see in the bible since the beginning if you look at the names of places and mountains that the entire biblical saga takes place on that side of the world (Eastern) and the continent is obvious. now my question is this. If in the beginning the world went evil so bad that god had to wipe us out ..ok and then god saved Noah and his family (were just talking the humans aboard) Noah and his family being of Hebrew decent I believe that makes them Jewish. so we have a hand full of Jews flailing around on torrent seas for forty days and forty nights and they happen to land on the same continent again on a familiar mountain then come down and restart civilization ..well whatever in any case..where did al of the different races of people come from. you don't get black people or Chinese or American Indians from a handful of Jews no matter how you slice it. And if you think that it was so far back we might say LAND bridges well wrong again .And Babylon tower changed the tongue not race.

i am working on a paper and i was discussing acts that are always immoral. i thought of stealing, but a poor man can justify his actions morally because of his economic situation, and lying similarily can be morally justified. but i could only think of rape being always immoral. but i dont wanna discuss rape in my paper so can some1 plz tell me some other issues that are always immoral. thanks

Ok..so first I am Christian..and I love Jesus..now that that is clarified..Here is the question..I go to a church that is all about raising the standard....and anyway they believe that you must submit everything into leadership and well they will counsell you and generally you go with the advise they give you....If you go against that advise then well you are going against leadership...which is wrong......Anyway..I was in the bible school there and all things were not going peachy..my son became ill and I had to take the semester off hopefully returning the following semster...well off I met a man..on line we fell in love planned on meeting and he ask me to marry him ..if we met and all was still good...anyway I was told this was wrong and that I didn't submit and asked not to come back to school, as well my"friends" @ the church and leadership have discussed this without my knowledge till now...what should I do as a Christian, is it subitting or controll..there is more but no room...
