Because belief in a god is about faith, not fact. Reason, logic, and fact don't figure into it.

Because Love, Hope, and Joy Etc... is what we all need in are life, it is that empty feeling that we all feel at one time or another. Having a reason for something is simple, you might have seen it with your own two eyes! Logic you can test that by just common sense. Facts we can find by just reading or watching TV. But, Things Like Love, Hope, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control are attributes that are in us given by the Spirit of God that we could easily not use for others to see with their own two eyes! The answer is simple: God's presents goes far beyond are human Reasoning, Logic and Fact! The Bible says: God ways are not are ways! Plus, If God was all of these things to us as human beings than why don't everyone of us on this place called earth believe in such a God that is Love, Hope, Joy etc....!?

Because we have a personal relationship with God, not an academic relationship. You don't base love off fact or reason or logic. You don't say, "I love you because Logic dictates so" you love them for their grace, the joy you bring each other, etc. Reason and Logic boil God down to a classroom subject, but hope and joy make God important our soul and heart.
If you try loving someone without the heart, no amount of Logic will bring you closer to them.

Love, hope, joy, etc... all make you feel warm and fuzzy....... Emotions
Reason and logic are skills that must be honed while facts are the rewards of those skills.......No emotions needed.

God's cardinal attributes are Love, Wisdom, Power, and Justice. He personifies all of these but Love most of all.

i for my section do no longer care. I attempt to no longer care. people attempt to get me to care, yet I won't. After long and careful concept i think of all of it comes right down to this: (A) Believers seldom carry on with the doctrines they profess to have faith in, then they experience to blame, then they start to persecute others because of the fact they should displace all that emotion and use it for some variety of clever function. Then they experience stable returned together as they eye all people else with narrow, suspicious, obtrusive looks. that's all a huge mess, truly (and have faith me as quickly as I say, it takes a great style of capability to be a believer). (B) Atheists do no longer decide to be saddled with the confining and illogical ideals of others. yet, they should run like loopy while confronted by skill of guilt ridden, indignant believers who think of that it is their calling to persecute those blasted, devil loving atheists. that's all a huge mess and atheists shouldn't in any respect bypass away homestead without donning their strolling footwear (they should also have a huge stick available and not in any respect take off their yellow hardhat). could no longer we basically all stay mutually in peace? probable no longer, yet take a lesson from my great-grandfather, Rev. Alvin Gehres, who became a Christian minister who became attempting to deliver forth prohibition of alcohol. Grandfather Alvin became beset by skill of two saloon buyers who tried to tough him up, yet in accordance to the newspaper, Grandfather Alvin gave them the two a "stable THRASHING" and a "THOROUGH DRUBBING." Alvin became way earlier than his situations ------ no longer your primary ''turn the different CHEEK variety of CHRISTIAN." possibly shall all of us compromise, adapt to the two pagan and believer positions and ward off one yet another while we are all carrying enormous sticks? EDIT: Alvin administered the two a "stable THRASHING" and a "THOROUGH DRUBBING." DANG! this might have been slightly severe, yet that's the way it is between "Believers." At any fee, i think of i could particularly be thrashed than drubbed. possibly this could be a sparkling question shall all of us contemplate?
