I don't want Bible quotes & lectures in the religious section which is what I usually get, that's why I'm asking here. But would a Fundamentalist support gay rights? I just want to know if I'm one of them. I feel more comfortable asking in this section. Thanks

That's what I think, reasons being ;
Mary, Jesus Christ's,(JC), mother was in the garden and Angel Gabriel came and spoke to her and told her that she was to bear a child and call it Jesus. Months later, she goes to Bethlehem and gives birth to JC. The Magi, Three Wise Men, know of the birth and folow a star to Bethlehem.
Putting this story into todays culture we get a different angle to it. Mary in garden, gets abducted by aliens, gets impregnated with an alien seed, months later goes to Bethlehem, delivers the child JC. The Magi are told by aliens that a new leader is being born and that they should follow the light in the sky, which happens to be a UFO.
Sources include readings of many a Ufology book about abductions, John Mack for example, and thinking regarding the Christian roots, and also many other cultures, ie. the book of the Maharabat and the epic of Gilgamesh, where chariots fly in the sky - UFO's ?
I'm not saying JC didn't exist. He did. Just what's his origins ?

I feel that each single persons beliefs are their own right and what ever they believe in is correct. For example if a person believes in after life then they will go to this after life that they believe in. Also if a person believes in Christianity and that they will go to heaven than they will. Is it true that on certain days every week (like every Thursday or Friday) married Christian couples are supposed to abstain from sex? I am a Hindu, and Thursday is supposed to be the day of abstinence for us. I was wondering if Christians and/or Jews also are supposed to have such days every week.

I m selected as a Vocational Instructor (Printing and Book Binding) for physically handicapped persons, a central govt job. scale is 5000-8000/- gross i will get around 14000/-. My nature of duties is to guide properly to all physically handicapped persons in field of printing and book binding. (a teaching job) Non transferable. Posting is in valley of kashmir i.e. SRINAGAR (jammu and kashmir).
Presently i m working as a assistant (printing) in an autonomous body at pay scale 4000-6000/- and getiing gross around 11000/- with approx all benifits of central govt.
Which is better for me for ???????
Srinagar or Delhi.
I have a own house in Delhi and i m unmarried living with all family members (Parents, Brothers & sisters).

Why would a god of love torture for eternity someone who committed wrongdoing for at most 70 or 80 years? Would a human parent sever the arm off his child for hitting the neighbor? That would be grossly wrong. Obviously, if it exists, God set up Hell and installed the devil there, or else the 'souls' of dead people wouldn't go there. If Hell wasn't part of God's plan, He wouldn't allow 'souls' to be taken that way. How would you explain this, if this is what you really believe? And don't give me any of that "God works in mysterious ways" crap. Humans have working brains and logical ability. God wouldn't do something that even imperfect humans would consider wicked.
