If for some reason someone should ask for help here, because they wanted to kill themselves.Weather you thought it was real or not. Would you encourage someone to do it or try to find a way to help them?

it's just that I read on here, and see ppl encouraging them on, then say that this person would not do it because they are typing on their pc and talking about it. antind attention. I just think it's sad that ppl would encourage other in any way. Really says something about them.

If a person was in great pain, and was terminally ill, then I would help them. Otherwise, I would try to get them to seek counseling and medical attention.

There are many reasons for staying alive and several for not.
If the person had a terminal cancer or disease and were in great pain..... or were very obviously dying from some other reason....
Then yes absolutely... I would even pull the trigger if need be.
But if there was one chance in a million that they might live through it, I'd fight like Hell to save them and even to try to convince them to hang on for just a little longer.

Of course I would not want anyone to take their own life. If I see that someone truly needs help, and even if they don't ask for it, I offer to help. And if I think they would reject help in that way, then I just simply be there for them, for conversation, advice, and just to lend an ear. Helping in any way is better than just sitting back and doing nothing.

no, I don't want anyone to die but I've seen several of those answers that say 'do it'...wait, maybe I do want someone to die. ;)
