I don't have an avatar...but I do use a painting a really like. The phoenix, to me, symbolizes life and rebirth. Struggles and overcoming them. Why let someone judge me by the way I look? What if I was not considered beautiful but had good answers, or if I was considered beautiful and had irrelevant answers--would looks of a person pursuade you on how you pick a best answer? Consciously or not, it probably would as is human nature.... we go with what is pleasing to the eyes, do we not? I think it's a thing to even the odds, if we're getting into human instinct here.

There are not many snapshots ever taken of me and I don't recall having a digital Pic to upload to replace my avatar, but I tried to make my avatar look kind of ugly like me.
