English as a second language or English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) as we call it now, is an educational term used to describe English as it is being taught to someone who is proficient in AT LEAST one other language...but not english. You are now bilingual so you do not require those services. I suppose you could say english is your second language because you learned to speak it in the second ordinal position but that is not really what the term means.

I think I know what you mean. You're asking if "first language" means the one you're strongest in. No, it doesn't. Korean is your first language, and English is your second. Generally, when a person's first language suffers as a result of the development of a second language, it's called "subtractive bilingualism".

English is still your second language. Your native tongue is whatever you were born speaking. A lot of the time some one will immigrate and loose their original language but it's still considered to be their first language. It goes in order of how you learned them. For me English is my native tongue and German despite it being broken and crummy is my second.

because of the fact the Quran replace into initially written in Arabic, that's counseled for Muslims to learn the language so as that they are in a position to confirm the Quran in its unique sort. One language can on no account completely translate into yet another. I do get what you're saying. some human beings look to confuse Arab lifestyle with faith. yet Barakallah Feek skill "might the advantages of Allah be upon you".
