I don't want Bible quotes & lectures in the religious section which is what I usually get, that's why I'm asking here. But would a Fundamentalist support gay rights? I just want to know if I'm one of them. I feel more comfortable asking in this section. Thanks

I'm inclined to say no...weren't the Puritans the ones who first coined the term "fundamentalist"? If that's the case, I wouldn't think that fundamentalists would support gay rights. If I'm remembering correctly, they try to cherry pick the bible as little as humanly possible in today's world.

No, Christian fundamentalists would not support gay rights or gay marriage. They adhere to all of what the bible says.

Most fundamentalists have strongly opposed the Roman Catholic Church for theological reasons; in recent years there has been limited political cooperation between individuals in each group on certain social issues, such as abortion and issues concerning homosexuality

Hope this helps:

The equivalent of a terrorist to Muslims.

Nope, you would get no support from Fundamentalists. They will pray for your sould and hate you until you said you were white, Fundamentalist, and no longer gay.

No, a fundie would NOT support gay rights. They view homosexuality as an abomination and a sin. Some preach "love the sinner, hate the sin" but they will legislate against "the sinner" at every possible turn. They "love" you, but will restrict your rights because of your "sin".
