Because they do not understand that we are not judging them when we tell them that without CHRIST they will surely go to hell. We are trying to throw them a life line. I hope they would throw us a life line if we were drowning. It is not because of our "judgment" of them that they are headed that way it is rather, because they have chosen that path.
No matter what we have to keep telling a lost and dying world that GOD loves them and has a plan and a purpose for their lives. Hang in there David. Soon we will be going HOME!!!!:-)

Because it means you think yourself holy and superior enough to tell them where they're going.
Because you know nothing about who they are, what kind of people they are, and your idea that they are going to hell is based on your interpretation of a scripture they don't believe in. It's rude and condescending. The same thing when you tell a Jew "well, in the gospel of Mark it says that Jews must turn to JC or they will go to hell" well...Jews don't believe in the NT, so why should what you say hold any stock? Atheists don't believe in the Bible, so why should what you say hold any stock? Truth is, it doesn't. But the way you are going about it--being condescending and righteous (contradictory to your "religion of love") is QUITE irritating.

We aren't offended by shameful threats of a sadistic killer God. We know it's not real, plus it makes us even more proud of having higher moral standards that would never worship such an evil being.
It is always interesting to see WHO fervently condones the act of barbecuing one's own alleged children. Very interesting.

The only people going to Hell are those that tell other people they are going there. God's divine retribution is reserved for those who claim to speak for God and condemn others. Like the idiot who wrote this question.

Your picture represents the Jewish faith, does it not? I'm a Christian and it is not my place to tell anyone that they are going to hell, nor is it yours. Only God can determine that. If a person lives a good life and is respectful of others, he will see that and give them a chance to see and accept what they have been blind to.

I often wonder if the 'fire-and-brimstone' crowd has ever really thought about their construct. Take the worst pain you've ever experienced, multiply it by 1,000, and have it last forever and ever, unending. I'm not sure how any person who claims themselves decent could condemn ANYONE to such a fate.

It's the judgement. That you pronounce them "worthy" of going to hell. It really is offensive, David. As I've pointed out before, there is no LOVE in that? The object of all spirituality is LOVE, no matter which religion you follow..

I don't really know because I'm a Christian, but it might be the stubbornness of human nature. Telling someone that they are going to a place that they don't believe is real I believe makes people think that you are pushing your beliefs on them.

Well do you enjoy telling us that? Do you like that idea that some perfectly good people will go to hell just because they failed to see gods logic? Its using fear to scare us into your system. Does not sound like a loving God to me.

It's more that you have no concern for people burning in Hell that's annoying, and it is very judgmental. Don't preach what you don't practice. I mean, you don't tease a kid who's in a concentration camp – right?
