Jupiter is simply a planet that God created in the universe. Ebaums world is a joke site that even has a prank call section. Why anyone would use that as a source of information other than for fun is beyond me.

Where did you get the "Venus is Lucifer" stuff? I'd think that if Lucifer translated to a Greek god, it would be Apollo--the god of the dawn and of music, more filling with Lucifer Morningstar, angel over music.
ETA: Thanks, Vaughn. That cleared that one up. That said, I don't think there's any way to work Jupiter into a religious construct, mostly because it's not terribly easy to view with the naked eye (if it is at all, and I don't think it is) and wouldn't have figured into ancient mythologies.

ha ha ha, I put a funny link on the internet, and I'm trying to decieve people, maybe I'll call them smart and have them guess what Jupiter is. Last time I heard, it was a planet, Venus is also a planet, difference is that venus is closer to the sun. I also hear that they were named after some Greek and Roman gods and godess's. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, from what I hear anyway. Oh somebody might have named a lion after jupiter too... Dur da durt da durt... Duh. Anything else funny man?

Jupiter is a big bubble of gases, named after the king of the gods in Roman mythology.

Maybe Belial [They seem to have the same portfolio...]?
I'm assuming you mean as in a demonic representation, as your link is broken...
Other than that, Jupiter is a planet representing expansion [and the largest planet in our solar system], and a Roman god parallel to Zeus...

jupiter is the roman god of gods (zues to the greeks, same cultural god, different names and languages). the lion is also a metaphor for Christ, just like in Narnia. its no accident that the lion died and came back from the dead.

Zeus, a planet, and according to a lot of ancient mythology one of our previous stars. Apparently Zeus banished Cronus (Saturn) and wrapped it in chains, which is where the rings came from. More than one legend speaks of this.
