My parents are MAJOR christians. I'm not. In front of my parents I am but for real I'm not. I think that I'm a saintest. Should I tell the turth or keep my parents happy and live a lie in front of them.

I have alot of gay friends Im not judgeing, but why do they think they are not sinning? I mean it is wrong to like the same gender. The lord also says so. Then say they were born with it so does that mean its an disorder. They have and chemical dis balance? Everyone is born sinner but its up to you to let it rule your life and continue to live in sin? What do u think??

With this whole Big Brother furore, I have noticed that Jade et al have been complimented in their 'honesty' and 'speaking the truth' about people when they come out with 'you're a *****' etc, and 'I hate you' bla bla. Is this not just uncultured rudeness and poor upbringing? Isn't it better not to say these things to your fellow humans?

I'm a honor roll student, I take several AP courses and I'm college bond. My family and I have been working our hardest to get ot the top. I've been having a rough time at school in these past few years. I'm in High school and I've been getting a lot of hate and strife from my own Black people. They are always calling me names like Oreo, whitewashed, and boughy. I'm so frustrated and I get into a arguement with one of these hoodrats everyday.They throw stuff at me and call me white girl.And it got to the point when I said that "I hate Black people" I never meant to say this but, some Blakc people just make me ashamed and they are becoming walking stereotypes and mintrels. It makes me sick how some of the black students at my school just think that they can never amount to anything. Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of all of the Black folks like Oprah, W.E.B DuBois, and MLK who empowered our people to learn and defy all negative stereotytpes. Has any Black other Black ever felt this way?

Let's face it, Pat Robertson is a false prophet. Even he admits that he gets things wrong and let us not forget that Deutronomy states:

20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death."

21 You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD ?" 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

If Pope comes from the Word Papa which means father Why do they call him and their other leaders "Father"

Judiasm, Christianity and Islam originated in the Middle East and they all use Middle Eastern animals and plants for god and spiritual images: lions, eagles, sheep, lamb, desert places, etc.e etc. Eskimo religion in the Arctic uses polar animals and plants etc. religious images.
Hindu religion uses plants and animal god & spiritualimages found in India.
African religions use stuff from their environment to portray spiritual and religous themes. Same for all other indigenous religions all over the world.
RELIGION IS ENVIRONMENTALLY DETERMINED!

After only one week of YA I think I'm falling in love with one of the guys who posts in this category.

I've never seen him, never spoken with him, and know only that he's gay and quite funny. Well actually I picked up a couple of hints regarding his appearance. He mentioned them in one of his replies. I also discovered he's in an LTR. (he mentioned this also in a reply to another user's question)

Anyway....we exchanged emails once..simply saying "hey"...and nothing else. Should I email him again? Should I wait and see if he emails me? I don't want to bother him...considering he's in an LTR...but I keep thinking about him.

Is it possible to fall in love with someone simply based on the witty and comical QA's he posts here? What would you do in my situation?

I've been married for just over three years now. I have no kids but I would like to have a family in the future, I just have some things to settle first. Anyways, people in my family and some of my friends persistently keep asking me why I don't have kids and when I'm going to start, etc. One of my friends (who got married last year) is now pregnant and expecting her first. I told her that I have names planned for when I have kids and she asked me "So what's the problem? Why are you waiting?" And another time, my mom said that I shouldn't wait so long to have kids and I should have them now because al of our parents/in laws are waiting for grandchilidren, etc. Does this mean they are looking down on me because I have no kids? I've been married the longest out of my friends and I'm the only one with no kids, and I'm the youngest in my family and the only one with no kids.

Many of you think that free will is such a valued and important thing to god that he allows evil in order to let you have it. If it is such an important thing to have, then why don't you have it in heaven where things are supposed to be perfect?

For those of you that pick heaven: Why do we need evil then since free will is obviously not good enough for heaven?
