quite correct, it's only done to sensationalise it and improve the ratings, It's a shame so many SAD BASTARD* watch it and think its all true.
And NO I have never seen Even clip. There is so much about it on here, I get fed up with it without watching it

Honesty does not mean you have to be unpleasant to people - I have to admit I can't understand why people think that.
If a friend asks me if I like her new outfit, and I think it's revolting, I don't have to tell her that to be "honest" - because the fact I think it's horrible is just a reflection of my taste in clothes. Surely it's far better to say something like "it's a lovely colour", or "it matches that necklace perfectly" - both of which are true, and will make her feel better about herself, rather than destroying her self confidence.
Too many times, people use "honesty" when what they really mean is that they are trying to make themselves look good at other epople's expense.

hi i have never seen these shows.true! i don't have a tv.
but if being insulting/ hurting another person is a virtue.. dont think so! theres this thing called tact!
if some one said they hated me, well i would be wanting to know why? what had i done to give cause and if i had erred, well i apologise freely. if they hate without a specific reason, well they are the ones with a problem i feel.
i agree with your assessment. and also add, that i think theres something very wrong if ego and opinion is so badly controlled.

A fine line is brought to bare with that question. as a Southern gentleman I am most always honest but mannerly and civilized. if you mix honesty with civility and sincerity.you can get away with being honest, usually. I like though Yankees habits and attitudes for being so honest, if they would just not mix being so rude about with the way they express themselves.
Peace

My antecedants from the north seem to think that it is only right and proper to call a spade a shovel. I tend to agree but when it comes to people then one has to be a little more cautious with the BLUNT truth! After all most of us like the shape of the nose we were given at birth!

Hmm Patience is a virtue.
Honesty is best in most cases, sometimes being diplomatically honest can be good as well, some say the truth is harsh and if you always speak your mind you will end up in trouble.

It depends on the situation, if you upset people like she has then it would be best left unsaid. I wouldn't like to be congratulated for my honesty if I upset as many people as she has, any way I think it has all be blown up out of proportion Danielle and Jo were just as scathing but what has happened to them, nothing. Shalpa also said unkind things to others but again nothing happened to her.

Honestly, please excuse the pun, I think honesty is not all it's cracked up to be.
Some people say horrible things to people, they excuse it by saying "Hey, I'm just being honest" When they are really just being jerks.
There's a time and place to say truthful things to someone. There's also a nicer way to put things. You don't have to be brutal and cruel to be honest.
