>>Do loving parents throw their misbehaving children into hell for eternity and call it free will?<<

No. Do loving parents whose children have rejected them force those children to spend eternity in their presence against the children's will?

If they are truly loving parents, they punish their kids for misbehaving. Otherwise, you get spoiled brats who have no respect for others. Time outs, loss of privilage, a swat to the behind - parents are slowly doing away with these, and I see more and more disrespectful younens these days. Punishment is for the betterment of mankind.

That's what hell is. We have the free will to follow God, or to deny him. He left his word here and we can follow it or not. Hell is just our time out after being warned our whole life. Just like how a loving parent will warn their kid, "If you do that one more time, you'll get a whooping" and the kid repeats his behavior.

No but those loving parents can warn their children about a cruel world out there and tell them not to do drugs and do evil things. Those children can go into the world can still go and do those things and create a hell for themselves if they so choose. God doesn't throw anyone in hell but he does have a law in place where you reap what you sow. All this can be avoided if we choose to believe in God and love him and love others.

I heard as quickly as which you do not truly even start to understand God's love for us till you alter right into a discern. you may do something to guard them, yet you may desire to additionally practice them, that's the place the punishment is presented in. in the event that they do something incorrect, yet don't get punished for it, they are going to think of that's ok and not incorrect. You gotta keep in mind, each and every thing that has to do with God is on a lots bigger scale than something in this Earth. that consists of the affection He has for us. that consists of the punishment he's waiting handy out.

Obviously not, unless they kill their children. Then they would go to hell or the common grave until they would be resurrected. There is no burning hell.

God doesn't "throw" anyone into hell - they CHOOSE that destination. "God is not willing that any should perish." A great quote from William Law is, "Men close their eyes, and claim they cannot see Thee; stop up their ears and claim they cannot hear Thee; willfully run from Thee and claim they cannot find Thee...nothing burns in hell but 'self'."

Only Christian parents would do something like that.

no, and neither does God.
however children do have themselves thrown in jail and those that go to hell go by their own choice. God doesn't send anyone to hell, they send themselves.
